[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My primary log storage pile is a long way from the house.  I'd been schlepping armfuls of wood in the cold and rain to keep my fires going.  Now I've got my Log Hoop right outside the living room door. It looks great.  My wife is delighted that I no longer have messy piles of wood right outside the door or making a mess inside the house.  This thing was easy to assemble - only four nuts/bolts to thread.  Once you place a few sticks across the bottom arc, you can stack pretty much any size logs or wood chunks right up to the top of the hoop.  I've got 8" diameter logs mixed with 2" diameter logs stacked in with cut 2x4.  I've mixed in full rounds, half rounds, quarter rounds, and kindling sticks.  The mix of sizes allows me to pull out a variety for each fire that I build as I work my way down from the top of the hoop.  Be sure to select the right spot before you load it up.  Once it's half full, it'll be too heavy to move.  It holds A LOT of wood.

I scoured the details provided for this product. The material dicussion is vague so, I went to The mfg web site, it indicates that the ring is iron.... it is cheap tubular steel...very disappointed... pay cheap get cheap
