Blade Sharpness

Bought this knife used, in mint condition, on the well-known auction site (yes, that one). I paid about 60% of the standard price for a new one, and it has proven to be a true bargain. The blade profile is very well designed; the edge geometry is excellenf for everything from heavy-duty cutting to fine slicing. The steel is not the fanciest, but certainly more than up to the task that any general-purpose work knife would be expected to perform. It holds its edge well, and is easy to hone back to a near-shaving edge. I am not a fan of pocket clips, and find the knife more comfortable in the hand with the clip removed. The only negative is that the base of the liner lock/handle design can cause it to pinch your thumb if you are closing the knife one-handed ( but you quickly get used to avoiding the pinch once you've experienced it). Overall, an excellent tool at an excellent price.

Best pocket knife and great price.

I usually carry a Kershaw.  But it appears that I have stored it in someone's attci insulation.  So the morning I discovered that the Kershaw run away, I purchased this new DeWalt knife for one third the cost of the Kershaw.  The only thing I miss about the Kershaw is the openning assist.  The DeWalt came from the factory with a razor sharp blade.  The handle is machined aluminimum, and despite my clumsy efforts it cannot be bent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] its a pretty nice knife to carry for utility purposes. i really like the serated part on the blade its holding up well so far. one thing however is that i had some issues with the blade getting super wiggly so i went and got some screw drivers to tighten it but you need to remove the hanging clip to tighten the other side wich is stupid and the clip screws are different from any other screw i actually had to go out and by a new screw driver i think it was a t6 but im not sure but other then that hastle i really enjoy this knife super durable and the blade seems pretty strong so far.
