My 9 year old Grandson is a reader and loves Pokemon. He just loved this set.
It is in English but the books read in Japanese format, right to left not left to right. We first thought it was printed wrong then realized it was not. My Grandson said it is backwards and I told him that the Japanese think we are backwards. A good lesson in other cultures.   My Grandson thinks it is cool. They are also written in comic book format. Again he loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it for my birthday along some other Manga. It came quickly and in good condition, no tears, no nothing. Im a fan of all things Pokemon so I decided to start collecting the Manga, and so far its incredibly engaging. Its also pretty cheap here compared to other places that sell this. I will definitely buy the next box-set in this series once I complete some of my other collections.
