It has only unexpectedly opened once, which was a pain to clean up but it's probably because she didn't close it fully. She loves that it's like a purse, and the confetti/piñata style packaging was fun for her.

my granddaughter opened it up Christmas day and all the pieces  fell out and the closure was broken and unable to hold the contents. Returned it today

Broken and not in original package just laying in a shipping box . I purchased two Polly pockets and both were the same way . I took pictures but they won't upload on my bc review but I will be sending Walmart pics and asking for a refund

Package arrived via FedEx who just left it on the front porch in the rain, instead of following delivery instructions. Opened package. The flamingo had been opened. Everything a mess, confetti in the envelope. This was to be a Christmas gift for our granddaughter.
