I bought POND’S Cold Cream expecting ‘grandma skincare’ and instead got my makeup melted off like butter on a biscuit. My face feels clean, soft, hydrated, and weirdly expensive now. Gen X girls everywhere owe somebody an apology because our grandmas were right AGAIN.

i waited too long to take grandmas advice! ive spent a lifetime buying expensive brands thinking the MUST  be better ingredients and have more efect on the skin. Not true this cleanser cleans much better than some high end products, leaves my skin free of makeup and super soft. it hasnt caused any break outs and i have somewhat sensitive skin. it is fragranced but doesnt seem to bother me . i would reccomend that you give it a try . it saves a ton of money and worst great!

Ponds is wonderful

This stuff gets everything off! Was worried it would leave a film on my skin or feel greasy but it doesn't. I bought it because I saw a super model use it and figured it was so cheap if it didn't work I'd just throw it away. When I'm really tired and don't want to wash my face with cleanser and water, I just smear this all over, wipe it off with a tissue and am done. Can't believe such an old name, inexpensive product works so well!!

Gets everything off, no residue!

Traditionally cold cream is loaded with moisturizer and emulsifier. Which not only soften makeup but also helps moisturize and soften dead,dry skin, which then makes it easier to exfoliate. It’s kinda like removing old paint from your wood fence before applying new paint. Well, my legs are like old fence posts and need the old, dead skin cleaned off. It’s kinda gross but needed.

My mom used this cold cream all her life, and all does at the age of 85. I started using it again and it's truly a great cream for removing makeup. I love how soft my skin feels after I have used it. I like to use it at night, and before I put on my makeup in the mornings due to how soft it makes my face feel. I swear my makeup looks better than ever once I started using this beforehand. I know there are thousands of products on the market, but this truly is a great cleanser than won't leave your skin feeling dry.

Old school, but great!

I love this. Best makeup remover. This product has been around for many years. All you have to do is apply to skin using circular motions, let it sit a few minutes while it melts makeup and dirt, then wipe it off with a damp washcloth. It moisturizes and makes skin so soft and clean. It does not clog pores or leave a greasy residue. It is inexpensive. There is a reason it has remained popular for so many years. There is no reason to spend a lot of money on makeup removers when Pond’s Cold Cream does it best.

Best Makeup Remover Ever!

I love this product and this brand. I stopped using it as  didn't see it in shops anymore. I was so happy to find it on Walmart's website. My only recommendation is that you be sure to rinse very well after use, or it can leave residue on the skin. Amazing product.

Love the throwback brand

I've been using this all my life takes off make up skin nice and clean and it gets every bit of makeup off better than anything I've ever used. My mom looked great died at 98 this is all she used! I'm in my 60s look like I'm in my 40!

This old stand by works great. Melts away makeup and grime, and leaves your skin soft and moisturized. I have tried many makeup removers over the years but always come back to Pond’s Cold Cream.

Gently Removes Makeup

I love the thick consistency and how it seemingly just grips any and all makeup on the skin and takes it away, although the "hydration" aspect isn't something I'm used to. it leaves my face feeling like I've just oiled it, which is a little strange. not sure if it's interfering with the rest of my steps at night, or if the other stuff is sitting on top of my skin. but I'm not wasting so many little disposable cotton pads anymore so, I'm not mad at it.  it's also not causing my extremely sensitive skin to break out, another plus. 
another point: the smell is lovely but it's a tad strong. i say this as someone who can tolerate fragrance with a pretty large threshold, so if this is something that matter to you I'd say there are other, less scented products out there that'll take your makeup off just the same.  

it's definitely a little weird to just slather a cream onto my dry, made-up face, but that's kinda part of why it's cool; you wouldn't expect that to work as well as it does. 7/10 overall

does precisely what it should

I wanted to try this as i know a lot of people love this. I bought it to take my makeup off as the first step of my double cleanse. It was fantastic at taking my makeup off, even the stubborn mascara. My issue lied in the super thick oily waxy film it left on my skin that my normal dry skin 2nd step cream cleanser couldnt remove. I had to bust out the neutrogena bar soap and wash twice to get it all off. Not good. Will not be repurchasing.
