The Danner **Pondmaster 02019** pump and filter kit is the easy and practical way to match a pond filter to the right pump or fountain head for smaller ponds. The kit uses only 15 watts of electricity and is equipped with a 10-foot power cord.  It pumps up to 190 gallons per hour. The Danner *Pondmaster 02019* pump and filter kit aerates water and produces a beautiful, wind-resistant pattern. Did we mention it's Fish Safe!

The Model 1.9 pump has a number of features which make it versatile. A 1 /2” inside diameter tube may be slipped over the outlet or a 1 /4” pipe thread fitting can be used. The pump also comes with an elbow which will accept 3 /8” ID tubing or a 1 /2” ID soft tubing. The elbow is for submersible use only. The elbow directs the soft tubing horizontally to prevent kinks. When there is limited room in the base of statuary, the pump can be placed with the screen inlet down for operation in shallow water.

For Small Ponds

Ease Of Cleaning

I purchased this a while back and finally got the warmer weather to be able to install and use it. I'm very satisfied with the filter and filter screens (unsure of exactly what they are called) they work excellent. The only issue is the fountain rod connection to the pump which I'll have to add some Teflon tape to ensure the water pressure flow doesn't blow it off. Other than that I'm extremely satisfied!!

I am well satisfied with the Pondmaster 190 pond pump. It has a nice water fall and keeps the pond sparkling clean. It was ahead of time as far as delivery date, which was great as I had no pump during that time. Good value and so far seems to be a good product.

I was afraid to buy online without seeing it but I couldn't have asked for a better one..

The filter is fine.  Delivery not good.   It was delivered to wrong house.  After two trips in my car and 5 phone calls, I finally tracked it down.  I am 80 years old and I ordered for delivery, so I would not have to get out.

Filter fine, delivery service sucks!

This is a good pump and filtration system. It pumps 190 gallons per hour. It is easy to clean when maintaining it; just use a hose and spray the filters and the inside tray. If you are going to use the fountain sprout; you have to do it to anchor the pump down or it will tip over. My pump is on a milk crate in my pond. I have 2 rocks on the filter so that it wont tip over. The fish seem to like it. They always swim around it. Great pump for someone that doesn't want to spend a lot of money

Easy to set up and go, i use this as a second filter for my pond as i needed one to connect to my UV filter

Easy

This is the pump I've used for years in my small koi pond. When the old one finally went I bought the same one again. It's easy to clean and maintain. Only thing I'd change is the piece for the fountain that goes into the base. It comes out to easy.

Good small pond filter

It's okay.  Needs to be cleaned at least twice a day. You will also need to get chemicals to help the sediment clot together.

Okay, but I am sure there is better.

I have been using this filter/pump combo in a outside, 35 gallon preformed pond. Weather permitting, the pond gets an average of 7 hours of sun a day. I treat the water once a week with algae control and currently have Shubunkin fish, plus an algae eater and rush plants in it. With that said............
This is not a suitable filter for outside fish. Algae growth needs a serious filter and this does not stand up. The pump is great for small gallon ponds and the filter does keep the pump working with out blockage however that is all. I am cleaning the filter pads, doing partial water changes and scrubbing algae weekly.
I read some reviews saying "This is a good filter/pump combo" so i went for it. I am currently building a koi pond and wanted to spend the least amount of money possible on a filter/pump i may never use again but i have made up for the inexpensive product with labor. This combo would probably be ideal for a indoor or shaded pond/water containment application.
I only give this combo credit for it's pump. I like the adjustable water flow lever for the pumps telescope. It is also light weight and at times teeters in the water. I have had to weigh it down more than once. The base is rather bulky for a small pond application so make sure you have enough flat surface area.
I hope it works better for you than it does for me, sorry for the bad review but this is what the combo has done for me.

What are you going to use it for?

I bought this and it stayed in the box for a number of weeks until I cleaned up the pond.  The pond pump worked only for 2-3 weeks and now I am having trouble getting it to work at all.  I inherited a pond and have been buying these for a number of years and I normally only get about May-Sept. on them before they die, but this one made it for a particularly short amount of time.  Very disappointed.

Worked for a few weeks well and then died
