The only thing I would like to have with this pump is a finer filter for the intake area. Very good product for the price. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great so far. Looks like when it breaks there is the possibility to repair. Seems like an upgrade from the Becket pumps I buy and replace every few years.

Like other reviews, I was disappointed at the lack of fittings for the pump. I also discovered that since I chose to mount it outside the pond, it requires priming each time I clean the filter.

Good for the money

I already had one of these that went ran for a couple of years constantly before it failed, so I was happy enough with the old one that I ordered the same exact one. I received this one quickly, installed it in a few minutes, and it works fine, so I am happy with it.

Pondmaster 02527

It has a design flaw in the outlet port. It doesn't have enough clearance to tighten a common 1/2" PVC fitting. The pump body is getting in the way so I can't screw it tight enough. It won't be an issue if you are installing it submerged(it's under water anyway). But I am installing it inline outside the fountain. So the outlet port keeps leaking.

At the end I have to use PVC cement to glue it. It took many hours for me to try different solutions.

Good pump but hard to install inline

It's a nice pump, but the intake is not open enough to prevent debris from clogging it up.  Good for clear water and has nice pressure.
In order to clear the intake you have to disassemble it.

Good for a clear water pond only.
