I  have used this product for years and it works great against rust. Best to use with rubber gloves, otherwise if you get it on your hands it  won't come off for days. Always clean container and lid or lid will lock onto container and be very hard to open. Keep thinner close by.

P.O.R paint

Used to coat inside and back side of new rocker panels on my truck. Goes on easily and small amount covers a lot. Coats bare metal and rust with a hard non porous surface.

POR 15 Rust Preventive

This is permanent paint & it bushes on very smooth.  This is my favorite paint.

Great Stuff

I use  this on my balcony.  It is amazing and last for years. I strongly recommend you use a high-quality mask when applying. Picture is shortly after a rain.

Rust Prevention Balcony

Used this product on a badly rusted battery tray.  It hardens like glass.  If you get this on anything where you don't want it (fingers, hands), be sure to wipe it off immediately or it will have to wear off.  Sticks to rusted surfaces like nothing I've ever seen.  Great stuff!

Great Product

POR 15 - this is the best paint to use on carbon steel. This stuff is bulletproof, tough as nails, give it a name-this is the good stuff. Don't let the price scare you away either; you get what you pay for. Unless you're painting a big area just buy a pint, and make sure to reseal can after use this is very important. Five years ago I used POR-15 on a condensate line that was constantly exposed to dripping acid (pickle line in a steel mill) this is a section of pipe we were replacing every 12 months. Five years later the pipe looks like new.

USE POR 15 UNLESS YOU LIKE RUST

This is the best for encapsulating rust so it will not spread.  Just put it on the unside of my classic car doors.  Where gloves and paint clothes because once dry it will not wash off.  Walmart had the best price and fast delivery.

After opening if your lid glues on and will not pry off turn can upside down and punch two holes in bottom with a church key. pour out what you need and put duct tape over the holes till you need some again.

Por15 is expensive, I thought the item was a gallon. Seller should make it clear it's a quart, not a gallon. Rust oleum does the same thing, and much cheaper.
