Really nice modern looking gate, a nice change from the old white gate. The only tricky bit is the latch, is a bit hard to open and close it.

I would purchase again

This gate is pretty easy to use and it works good as a dog gate. I have a small dog 15 pounds. It's not super sturdy but it does the job. I wouldn't recommend it for kids that would climb on it or larger dogs but it serves the purpose for me to keep my dog confined to one room and sometimes I just prop it up in the doorway so that my kids can just move it when they want to go in and out and she's none the wiser. :)

Love this gate! I had one from many years ago stashed away in storage. I got two puppies (Rottweiler) and had to bring it out. It is wood, so they did chew on it, but still up and working. I purchased a new one in the farmhouse collection and love the dark color. It matches my home.

Durable For Puppies!

This a great pressure mount gate, we have smaller ones, but the height on this gate is better for the stairs and fits our hallway better.  The cat occasionally will knock it down, but she climbs on top and really pushes off it leaping off.  I like that it isn't mounted and doesn't damage our walls and we can place it where we need it.  I prefer the dark color vs. oak colored version, even the mesh is dark colored.  The latch is improved, plastic sliding lock is harder for my kids to unhook.

Baby/Dog Gate

The gate we received is a different style than the one pictured on the website. We bought it to use in a doorway that has trim. Product pictured has no overlap on the top and bottom so it would fit in that door way without having to hang it above the trim. Hanging it that way would not keep our furry friends from escaping. Because the style is different, we will have to use on the stairway where there is no trim to contend with. This is why I gave it 3 stars. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars.

Good Product but different than Product Pictured

These are good looking (farmhouse style) and taller than most options which has been great for a puppy. However, the lock bar is very brittle. The bar is not made for the pressure needed to keep gate in place. One has already broken with light use. I have four kids. I have used similar gates numerous times over the years. Cheap Chinese wood. Look elsewhere unless use is very light. PS - I would have returned if I did not recycle box it came in.

This one absolutely SUCKS because I cannot open it to even begin setting it up. 

Mind you, I ordered THREE of these particular gates because of my fondness of their older gates. 

I have FINALLY handed them off to other folks to see if THEY can open them up for use.
