This is an excellent item to put into your prepper supply or take camping.  I live in a small town, where we have frequent loss of electric power.  Half the storms in our area cause blackouts.   Two years ago, we had a high wind storm.  We lost power.  The high winds split my Bradley Pear tree right down the middle.  AARGH!    When the power came back on the next day, a power surge fried my refrigerator/freezer and my clothes dryer.  I'm just mentioning this, so you realize we have bad storms.  But, large and small disasters can happen anywhere in the country.    These work and I wouldn't be without them in my arsenal.

Recently, I purchased a Gravity Fed Water Filteration System.  I LOVE IT.   I use it daily and it replaces purchasing 12 packs of water.  I was going through about $30 plus a month in bottled water.  There are 3 reasons you don't want to keep using bottled water.  1.  The Costs.  2.  The impact of all those bottles on the environment.  3.  The very real danger of micro-plastics leaching into your water and YOU!    Even though I heavily lean on my Gravity Fed Water Filteration, I still keep these as an additional backup in my prepper closet.   I have lanterns, light bulbs, batteries, long lasting foods, crank and battery weather radio, water purification pills, butane torch and lighter, butane bottles for camp stove, emergency heat blankets, hand %26 foot warmers, spare emergency candles, window black out curtains to keep out cold, Coleman camp stove, extra wool blankets,  smokeless indoor grill etc.   You may never need these water purifiers, but don't be in a position where you need them and don't have them.     I've built up my little survival supply over a year and don't reget purchasing anything.

Excellent Addition to Prepper Supplies/Camping

Have not tried yet.  However, better to have on hand,  than need it  and cannot find it due to emergency.  If my well water is questionable then I can proactively dose my water until the problem is resolved by the well service provider.   Anymore, you need know what is going to happen.

Cost effective way to purify water if instructions are followed. After dropping in the treating tablets, you will notice the water turning a pale red indicating they've released iodine. After 30 minutes, the clarifying tablets completely remove the iodine and the water is very clear. I find it helpful to stir the water to help dissolve the tablets. The clarifying tablets will work best if crushed before adding.

Easy to use tablets

For sure, me and my wife. We're a little skeptical at first. We were getting dark water from our water system in our county for a while and we researched it bought it. Do Walmart, Which is truly an amazing site online. If you guys haven't ventured in walmart online shopping, it's a great experience! But if you read the directions is your choice. How much water to add? How many tablets to use? But if you follow the directions, you can drink with this water bathe with this water. I'm definitely buying lots more of this great product, Highly Recommend !!  5⭐️ For Sure!

Safe To Drink Water!!!

Have not tried it, and hope I never have to.  If I do, it is nice knowing I have this. Would rather have and not need, than need and not have.

Water purification.

I heard that these are very good for water purification. I think one day we're gonna need it in the near future and I wanted to be prepared and that's why I bought them. I know people that have used those and I'm very happy with

Clean water

The value and how much you get of the product is great and I was glad it was in stock. I feel better having something like this for hiking trips and for emergencies.

This is a must have for all emergency/survival kits. Don't get caught without, you'll never know when you may need it and can't get it. Hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, natural disasters like tornadoes/hurricanes/flooding/earthquakes, and so much more this can keep you with clean water! 

I tested it out and it slightly discolored the water and had a light taste %26 order but wasn't overpowering. I was able to “stomach” it and drink the water.  It doesn't filter the water but I successfully used a coffee filter to remove many of the sediment. Tested tap and various nature found  water sources locally. Filter held up and I'm alive and well writing this review.

Must have staple!

I used this to make sure tap water in a developing country did not make us sick. It was NOT recommended to drink the tap water straight out of the tap nor to brush teeth.  So it was not like I was drinking water straight out of a lake or stream nor did I have to filter the water.  I did not get sick for which I was grateful. 
The first couple of bottles of water came out cloudy. The last couple came out pretty clear. It may have been related to the different sources of water.
Taste was neutral. 
This was a reasonable option for purifying water when luggage space is limited.

Water purification in a developing country

This was advertised as Chlorine Dioxide when I did a search for the product.  It used to BE Chlorine Dioxide but not it is tetraglycine Hydroperiodide.  Which is only iodine.  I am returning this stuff.  It does not work since they changed it at Potable Aqua.

Beware, This product is not Chlorine Dioxide!
