I really like this bench, it is pretty and serves my purpose. The price was good, and free shipping, and was just what I was looking for. My yard is small and living in MA I wanted something that I could put in my garage for the winter.  I did buy and put wheels on the bottom of the legs to move it easily when I needed.  I like the draw and side hooks, and the bottom shelf is good for holding pots or potting soil.  It is very light weight but that is all I need.

I will be using this for a potting bench, as intended, but it first got put out during a backyard party. We had it next to the bbq to put out condiments, buns etc for hot dogs and such. It was perfect, and so pretty I almost hesitate to start getting it dirty this weekend. Assembly was easy enough, couple of awkward steps that go best with 2 people to line things up, but it is light and easy to figure out. I love it!

I have wanted one of these for a long time and when I saw this one, and on a great sale, I had to have it. Very easy to put together and very solid. I did put a clear spray on it to give it more protection as well it's perfect for a bbq cover to go over and protect it in winter.   I highly recommend this bench if you love to work with plant. You will love it.

Fabulous

Is the perfect size  for potting plants.  Was easy to put together.  Is not heavy and had wind catch it before I had all together but stood up to a few bounces on the deck without any damage so wood is sturdy.  The unit complete is good with some weight on  the lower shelf.  I do quite a bit of planting in pots throughout the summer.   I am very happy that I purchased spray shellac and coated every inch with at least one spray and areas I knew I would use a lot, gave a second and third spray (drying in between) and was inexpensive.   It is also light enough for me to move around and clean off and put in gardening shed over winter.  It is near perfect for the cost and sturdiness.  Strongly recommend for ease to put together, sturdiness even though light weight,  With the quick coats of shellac highly (recommend 2 - 3 and all surfaces).  Do store out of winter weather.

it's not sturdy if you're using it for planting. it had one hole on the slat. The drawer fits loosely and doesn't open smoothly.

Bench needed 2 people to put together. Instructions are easy to follow. I like the fact that you can change the draw to either side if convenient. Did not give it 5 stars because the upper part of the bench came scratched directly from the manufacturer.

Good for the price

If only the legs were immune from rot - as the bench is made from untreated wood.  Care will be needed!  Assembly went well.  Note, it is easy to assemble the two verticle ends facing the wrong way.  This only affects appearance, not structural integrity.

Good design, nice appearance!

The instructions were very confusing and the wood wasn't machined properly, so we had to carve out some of the grooves where they had errors. It also didn't come with any tools, so you would need to have at the very least a screw driver. That being said, once it's all the way put together I'm very happy with it and I'm going to keep it.

Very difficult to put together

Low quality materials. Holes drilled in the piece to be attached, but not in the piece it's being attached to. This led to several splits in the wood so I began pre-drilling the holes in the second pieces to avoid splitting. Screws specified in Step 2 are too long so the point protrudes through. P7 bolts should have washers so the nuts don't embed into the soft wood. P5 screws used to attach P8 hooks are too small to secure them in the soft wood. Instructions in Step 3 are backwards. Part A1 (vertical) should be attached to A2 (vertical) with the J shelf sides forming left and right side assemblies, then the side assemblies should be attached to B1 (table top) and B2 (bottom). (If you bolt A1 and A2 to B1 and B2 - as instructed - you can't insert the sides [J] into the slots in A1 and A2.) Instructions need to specify which side of part C is "up" -- the wide board or the narrow. In the Step 4 diagram the lower board is hidden behind B1 so it's unclear which side is "up". On my part C the holes on one side were mis-drilled so I had to drill new holes in part C on one side. My wife looked at the wood and wondered if it was unsuitable for outdoors so she will likely polyurethane it before it goes outdoors. With luck this potting bench might make it through one season. I'm betting the pallet it was shipped from China on was better made.

Best Choice Products? Really?

Misleading description by Best Choice. 
Natural wood finish turned out to be a shiny varnish finish. 
I had planned to oil, weatherproof or paint item. 
Impossible without sanding a complicated design. 
Return policy - no return to Walmart. Customer to pay return to Illinois. 
Company responses to emails ignored my comments. 
Could have purchased the same item for $20.00 less with natural finish according to reviews. 
Trusted Walmart as the supplier.
Have kept item but bitterly disappointed and would not trust Best Choice product descriptions again.  Nor buy from Walmart online.
