Using a large brush,  almost a kabuki, brush lightly across the surface of the beads and it picks up just enough to brush across your whole face. You can layer ,which I don't want to do, and do your face, neck,shoulders and decolletage if you like. Just the lighest bit of sparkle as is. I use after applying my full makeup on my whole face.

Great highlighter

I use all the glow pearls and they all are great. I use Translucent for an all over highlighter and finishing powder. I use a make sponge for concentraited highlighter over the tops of my cheeks, under my eyes, nose, and forehead. Then a kabuki brush for overall finishing powder. Great product at a great price!

Excellent product!

This stuff is beautiful. I bought the Translucent Pearl to brighten my eyes up a bit. I use very little to keep it subtle. It's magical and I will buy this as long as they make it. My only complaint is not exclusive to this brand or product: WHY cannot cosmetics companies make a compact that does not fall apart at the hinge??? Such nice products and they always break at the hinge. Super annoying.

I have been searching for a highlighter that makes my skin look luminous. I bought this powder which is my first highlighter. I am in my mid 30's and using this makes my skin glow. It is a lovely effect. I am olive complected and this powder just adds luminosity to my face. I have this dewy, glowy effect which I really love. I would recommend this product to women who have been searching for a good highlighter. I apply the powder with a light touch so that I don't overdo it but you can apply however much you want depending upon what type of look you are going for. I just personally prefer a more natural look.

Wow--is all I can say about this highlighter. I am fair complected and every highlighter that I had purchase most had a glow shimmer of gold this has a pink/silver glow so I think it looks good on my pinktoned fair skin. I use this most then my other brand name highlighter such as albatross from NARS. This is the only highlighter I will use that is in a powder formula and it is the cheapest item I own in my makeup collection and I use this everyday!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I mostly used higher end makeup brands that cost double and more. The amount of product is very generous for the price. The application is beautiful-- for me at least! I use this to highlight my cheek bones nose bridge inner eye corners above my lip and on my chin. The consistency does not look glittery. When applied to the skin there is a beautiful glow when you face hits certain angles. This really does brighten up the face. There is silvery iridescent shimmer. I have not experienced any crusting on the top like the other reviewer stated. I use this more then my NARS highlighters. I would purchase this again.
A little note: I don't know if this would be suitable for all skin tones. I have extremely fair skin and I am very pale. My best friend tried this and she has a more darker skin complexion and this did tend to look a bit chalky on her. So other then that I highly recommend this product as a highlighter.
