The Ultimate Off-Road Adventure Vehicle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a 1:10 Scale 4x4 Off Road Remote Control Dune Runner Vehicle, complimentary from Amex Brands and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. In my opinion, Amex's Dune Runner is the king of all remote control cars! Seriously, this vehicle is a monster! It has the capacity to climb up rocks, grassy hills, sandy terrain, you name it -- and this vehicle will conquer it. As soon as the Dune Runner arrived, my son's eyes lit up and he couldn't wait to tear into the box. The size of the vehicle alone is impressive -- about 18 inches long, and 10 inches in height! The Dune Runner comes packaged with a remote control, USB charging cord, rechargeable lithium battery pack, and small screwdriver. The front wheel's suspension is ziptied, so you'll need to cut it to release the spring-loaded front wheels. The battery pack is already in the vehicle's battery compartment, and needs to be fully charged before you operate. You will need a USB wall port for the charging cord, and 4 AA batteries for the remote control, as those are not included. The charging cord blinks red and green while charging, and once the battery is fully charged, it's a steady solid green. It takes roughly 2-hours to fully charge a depleted battery. Once you're all charged, and both the vehicle and remote control are turned on, you can see all the really cool lights lit up on the vehicle. The Dune Runner has working headlights, fog lights, and rear tail lights. In addition, the tire in the back is a spare that can be removed in case you have a flat! My son really liked the little empty seat next to the driver. It was large enough for an action figure to venture along on the ride. The Dune Runner is extremely easy to maneuver on terrain by the remote control's wheel-design dial. The Dune Runner's motor is very powerful and long-lasting, and I felt like we were outside playing for a solid hour before we had to head in to recharge the battery. The body of the Dune Runner is durable and rugged, and able to withstand the wear and tear of rough terrain, and the accidental "dropsies" of an energetic and playful child. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the ruggedness and performance of the Dune Runner RC Vehicle. This is definitely a high quality toy that has provided hours of outdoor entertainment for our entire family.

The King of RC Vehicles!

I've gone through a handful in the past, that either dont hold a charge, the remote doesn't work well, or the ease of use was difficult. This one has a good charge, works well on all terrains I tried it on, and it pretty simple to use. My 10 year old child has a lot of fun with this.
