We love EVERYTHING ExplodingKittens, and this game is nothing short of amazing! The characters are so much fun and the strategy within the game is really exciting to play.

Exploding Kittens

Great game, easy to learn. My 11yo loves it and because the rounds are not long you can play quickly games or longer games doing more rounds.Only question is if you play a 5 and someone has a 10. It forces them to play their card, are they eliminated or not? As the 5 says without performing the action but 10 says if put down for any reason.....help?!

Easy to learn and quick rounds.

When a 3 Battle Bunny is used, if a player has the 0 Royal Robovac and the other has 10 King Cat, who is eliminated? We have an argument for either but would love an official answer.

Excellent game, one frustrating question

When we first played (ages 17-57) I wasn't too sure about it, as it seemed too basic.However, as we played through the rounds and got more aware of some of the strategies to not lose too quickly, it became much more interesting. It was remarkably easy to learn the rules and we were up and going pretty quickly. What I really liked was that there really weren't a million rules to learn, although reading glasses for this old geezer did help!It's a quick game. With 3 of us it was as suggested, a15 minute game, and although it is a simple game it was fun to play as your strategy develops. We all gave it a thumbs up, and it's added to the rotation!

Another winner from these guys

Takes the unique and quick gameplay of Love Letter and gives it the fun, and also unique, Exploding Kittens touch you come to expect from them. Our group ended up playing this for well over an hour without knowing how much time actually passed... needless to say we will be playing this one at game nights for quite some time.

A unique twist on Love Letter

We liked it! We played with a 7yo, a12yo and an aged relic. It was easy to get how to play and the rounds went quickly, so the aged relic didn't fall asleep waiting for their turn. There were snakes and snails and turtles and hermit crabs but no rats (mice don't count according to the 7yo).She felt this would be easy to fix in future editions. So yeah, 5 stars all around! Please note: the 7yo won the game.

My eleven year old and I really loved playing this one - the combo of luck and strategy really added to the deceptively simple gameplay mechanic. We really enjoyed all of the cards, except for the Crystal Ball card (lol) - my daughter wanted me to make sure to share her annoyance with “always getting that one,” but I think every great game needs THAT card. I think this one is great for two, but would be incredible with 4. We plan on playing with the grandparents a weekend soon. This one is easy enough for the whole family to learn, but can get prettty cutthroat if you aren't careful!

This one is really fun!

Another hit from Exploding Kittens. This is a very easy game to learn and play through is relatively short, but there is a deeper strategy at play. It is well balanced where you may think you are in a position of power but then suddenly, you are eliminated. Rounds are quick enough that eliminated players won't feel left out for long. My game group (ages ranged from 14 to 87) had fun playing. Highly recommend this game!

Easy game but deeper strategy.

If you don't have the money for a vacation, this is the 2nd best option to a night of family fun! Played with a group ranging in age 10 to adult. It was enjoyed by everyone. There is no need to go to the dentist now...we can see from all the smiles that our teeth are healthy!

My socks were on...but it knocked them off!!

Very simple game play but after a few games becomes a challenge. Once you get a few rounds in, strategy really comes into play. Not many games encourage counting cards but it's almost necessary for Power Hungry Pets. It's definitely a good one for killing time on road trips or while waiting in the car.
