Can be excellent, but also prone to inconsistencies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received the battery and the weather is very cold, but I am charging it up and hoping that our grandchildren will love it when they come to visit in a couple of weeks and drive in the power wheels vehicle!

This battery (model 00801-0638) comes as a substitute for older ones (models 00801-1460 and 00801-1869). It's powerful and long-lasting.

The product dimensions (size) were shown wrong on Walmart.com as of 02/2017 (probably it's a size of the packaging). The battery is of the same height, width and length as the older models. The chargers from older models work with this battery as well, just follow the instructions.

Great Battery

Nice replacement. Came fully charged at 13.8 Volts. Old one was about 10 years old and would only hold 6.5 volts. More expensive than aftermarket option but plug and play and should hold up. Recommend the warranty as well. 3 year warranty was like 9 bucks.

Worth the cost for genuine product!

It's exactly like the original battery we had before the other one just got old and needed replacement.

Replacement

Getting hard to find these batteries at reasonable prices. . .  
But a Walmart comes thru AGAIN! This is for a toy ride on that is 30 years old!

We are once again able to use the jeep we purchased for our granddaughter 10 years ago! Our newest grandchildren are now able to use the jeep! It's like new again! And we felt the price was worth being able to use the toy again!

It's alive!

This is for the battery only. You'll need to buy the charging cords separately and charge the battery for 18 hours before the first use. After charging, it has worked extremely well.

Worked great

We needed a replacement battery for our PowerWheels, but it does seem like we received an old (older) battery. We got the battery at the end of May, and it expires in November. It does not seem to be as powerful or hold charge as long as we expected.

When you order the battery online you are charged a $12 core fee but the receipt does not state it is a "core fee" just a government fee so you will not get the $12 "core fee" refunded.
