The top part of the strap is soft and squishy whereas with the original strap, it was tight, uncomfortable, and almost suffocating. The installation was easy. It doesn't feel like it is squeezing my head like the one that came with it.

Compared to the default strap, this version offers superior comfort and much more secure feel. The thick, soft padding hugs the top of the head and the back of the neck, helping to distribute weight evenly instead of concentrating pressure on the forehead. The materials are well-made, the frame is sturdy but doesn't feel heavy on the head. The joints and adjustment knobs feel solid and not loose. Adjustment dial is very easy to operate, a slight turn is all it takes to quickly tighten or loosen it. Suitable for many different head sizes. The flip-up design is extremely convenient, you can quickly lift the headset to look outside without removing the entire device. 
In summary, the PowerA Comfort Head Strap is a worthwhile upgrade. Its sturdy design, soft padding, flexible adjustment, and suitability for long gaming sessions make it a great investment.

There's nice padding on the head and eyes so it's not poking you, and it's not too heavy either. I can't believe I waited this long to upgrade.

My husband says he likes it he is pictured here wearing it he says its like a motorcycle helmet . I however found that part very uncomfortable.  
I do like how the whole thing fits snuggly just wish the back had more padding .

The straps are adjustable and overall easy to wear. I had some difficult attaching it but I think that's more on the learning curve part. It adds comfort but not sure I'd say it's a must have. But definitely a good product.
