I have only used the Microsoft branded Controller and the buttons and sticks get stuck after a week or usage.   After using this for a week I have not found any issues!  Looks like I am going wired over wireless!

I may prefer this to a wireless controller!

It is ready to go once you receive it and plug it in.  The joysticks are soft and easy to press buttons - not stiff like others I have used in the past.  Great remote for the costs!

Great remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this wired controller for Xbox One several weeks ago and have enjoyed endless hours of gameplay. It offers all the same great features as any nice controller does, joysticks, dual rumble motors and has the impulse triggers, it has the audio jack. I'm impressed with this controller as it has a great price but doesn't lack any of the needed features of the more expensive controllers. I would highly recommend this controller and will purchase again.

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 15 year old son doesn't always get to play Xbox one in the living room which is where it's located in our home. However Xbox has made it where you can stream and play games from any windows computer in the house. This controller has made it extremely convenient for him too play on PC without the hassle of using a wireless controller in that scenario. Plus you don't have to charge it.

I would much rather use a wired controller instead of pairing with the console and taking a ton of my time up. This one is really easy to use. It fits in my hand nicely, the cord is plenty long, and all the buttons work flawlessly.

Great controller!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Wired Controller for Xbox One works very well. The cable is long enough to go from the Xbox to the couch. All the buttons work as they are supposed to.

Great Controller

The colour is nice. Works really well. The gaming paddles on the bottom are good. The Xbox button feels abit off. We use it on the computer. Was easy to get going.

Good controller

I have read a few reviews here (from a third party) and I will try to be objective as much as possible to help other consumers. 

I think this controller is fairly inline with an official xbox controller: the form factor 95% looks identical to an original controller with slightly different bumpers and a gloss finish on the front plate. From here on, I will compare some pros and cons and try to highlight some of the differences between the two. 


 It lacks a headset plug like an original Xbox One controller, but the included headphone jack is sufficient. I had received a comment from someone online that they could hear a beep coming from my headsets. These head sets (2 different brands) both work great with my original controller, but I am not sure if it is the headsets or the controller (or both) that are having the issue. I am more the believe it is the controller, but without further testing, it would appear that the original outclasses this one in that regard. 

The grip on thumbsticks is amazing and the deadzones on the joystick are slightly better than the original. I find it grips really well and in a way, exceeded my expectation of third party controllers. 

The extra buttons are a nice bonus and once I learned how to program them, quickly found myself using them more often than anticipated. In a way, since they are hardwired into the controller, I found them less intrusive than the Elite Xbox One controllers paddle system. 

A quick note: by design, the triggers are very quick! Comparable to a short trigger, they too could be seen as superior to the original controller, if you're in the market for shooter games. 


The gloss finish, although smooth at first, quickly becomes normal on your grip as you break in the controller. 

I personally bought the nebula design and it has a gorgeous pearlescent paint job. I found the controllers design much more like an official controller than PDP's more plasticy line of third party controllers. 

I hope you find this information useful. If this controller had official xbox headset audio (which you can still use if you dont mind an extra controller around), I would rank it 5 stars, however, I would say this is a 4.5 stars kind of review (they don't go by half steps on this site). It is wired but objectively that won't come into question (just buy wireless if you want!), because for it's price point, quality and design, I would rank it higher if I could.
