We had one of these controllers before and had to ro-sham-bo to see who got to user it...NOW we each get one and it's a more fair competition. She still beats me most of the time!  It's easy to slide the controllers into the grip and then get after it!  Definitely more comfortable than having to handle the small controller(s) with bigger hands!

Super comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great with our nintendo switch controllers. I don't usually mind holding them separately, but it is definitely convenient to be able to slide them in like a more traditional controller. Easy to use and no compatibility issues.

handy to have around

I have bought more of these as they hold up well and have survived being stepped on and carried around by our dog from time to time!

It turns the little controllers (that can be hard to hold) into a regular sized and easy to hold controller! My son loves the feel of it and so do I! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well-made product, but honestly speaking, I don't see much of a difference compared to the original accessory in terms of comfort. Yes, the rubber finishing feels nicer to the touch, but it doesn't make that much of a difference at the end of the day. I think the main issue with this (and with the original accessory as well) is the small size, but there is not much way around it. For the best experience, a dedicated, full-size controller (wired or wireless controller) is the best way to go. Finally, it is good to point out that this PowerA accessory has a slightly different design than the original one, with a type of "rest area"/grip for your index fingers. It does not make that much of a difference to me, though.

Good product

Bought this for my husband who loves pokemon, the paddle looks great and the color is better than it appears in the picture however the part that the game paddle slides into is made out of warped plastic instead of metal as on the original joy con grip paddle so it doesn't stop the controller from sliding back out when pushing the joystick up.  So he can only use it for certain games otherwise he has to keep holding the controllers from sliding out.
