Power Output

Nice, clean compact appearance. It looks like it should cost more. The build looks on par with much more costly generators. Runs great and does exactly what it claims. There's a reason it has good reviews on multiple sites and that's bang for the buck.

Great mid-sized generator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive only had this running for 6 hours. It starts easy with 1-2 pulls. I tested it to run two 8,000 BTU window A/C units and 2 refrigerators 8n case of an extended power outage. The generator handled it without breaking a sweat. Make sure to drain the carburetor dry when in storage and change the oil after the breakin periods. i expect this last as long as you keep up with the maintenance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say, when reading the reviews, I didn't know who to believe.  Some said, "Best product ever" while others said, ""what a piece of junk!" Knowing there was a warrenty, I ordered the generator.  The generator came in less than 2 days, the box was not damaged and the generator had no visible damage or wear and tear.  I followed the instruction on adding oil, gas, etc.  Pulled the cord and on the 3rd try, it fired up with no issues.  I plugged in my refrigerator, my internet modem, a TV, and a cell phone charger (all the things I thought I would "need" for a power outage).  Generator kept up with no issue, even in the ECO mode.  Waiting a week and ran the generator again and it started on the first pull.  If there is a negative, it is a little loud for its size. So don't put it near a bedroom window or somewhere in an area that someone may steal it.  (You never know in a power outage who may take your generator out of a pure situational need)

Good Product for the Price

We used it for a weekend of remote camping.  It did well running A/C .
The only negative thing I would say would be that is louder than I expected and when running the AC we had to refuel after a few hours

After only having it 10 days the cord has frayed and broken which is not a good sign overall.  It does start easily most of the time, sometimes it gives you a hard time when the weather is cold.  It also will go down with no reason.  This part we were dealing with but the cord breaking after 10 days is a bad sign to me.  I hate returning things, usually I find it not worth the hassle, but we're going to have return this.  Not happy.

We wanted to like it

Once opened, oil stick was wet. Kind of concerning, but proceeded to setup unit buy adding new oil %26 no-ethonal gas.
Unit never stayed on. Would sputter, jump vigorously, and was smoking.

Had high hopes. Disappointed it wouldn't work.

Completely wrong information. Fuel tank is half the size it says it is. Doesnt have an rv plug. All the plastic was cracked.

well I got it out put oil in gas in it make sure the switch was on choke on pulled and pulled and pulled and nothing I called the power Smart company they told me that I had a faulty unit and I had to send it back. not a good experience
