I purchased this shredder to replace a non-Fellowes unit that kept jamming, and finally failed. The Fellowes 60Cs is much quieter and better built than my old shredder, and the bin capacity is about 50% larger. I'm confident that it will continue to meet my needs for a reliable, safe, jam-resistant shredder for many years to come.

I purchased this Cross Shredder as I needed a new one. Used shredder 3 times since I purchased it and was amazed how quick....accurate and safe it is to use. I would replace this shredder in a heartbeat if I needed a new one! It is the best shredder I have ever used...more than a satisfied customer!

Fellowes 60CS Cross Shredder

I had this for a couple of months and it seems to be great. It is reliable, it fits next to my desk perfectly fine, it's easy to operate, and most important because I have kids playing around my desk all the time, it is safe. It has this Safe Sense Technology.

Good Deal

Size and shape enables it to be placed just about anywhere without encroaching on the space. The unit is considerably quieter than my last shredder - was a Staple brand. Unit has a 6 gallon bin which requires emptying less often than my previous unit. Pull out bin would have been nice but pull outs sometimes leave a mess depending on their design. All in all I am impressed at this point - time will tell.

Nice compact unit

Had the same shredder for a few years now however it got fried during a sudden power outage. Other than that it always performed great and handled paper as well as credit cards like a pro. Very happy with this shredder! Only difference now is I have put it on a power surge plug to prevent another burn out.

A Replacement for identical shredder

great little shredder. Had a backlog of shredding when I got it and it performed like a champ.

good value for the money

For such high security shredding power, this shredder is pretty lightweight to move around the office if needed. We love the safe sense technology which protects users from injury! Translucent bin still manages to look good while helping us keep track of when it needs to get emptied. Need to remember to oil the machine every time you fill the bin up to prevent damage.

We love our shredder, and the product support was awesome

bought new fellowes shredder yesterday. First time buyer of this brand (other brand was useless) This fellowes seems to be better built; more safety features, such as overheat, i think that is a wonderful feature, plus two off/on switches, another great feature. Used it first time this morning and it worked great. I may follow up later. Also the store clerk's knowledge or fellowes products and his courtesy with me.

new purchase

I purchased this one about 2 weeks ago as a replacement. It works great but inserting papers into the entrance is little small. 10 pages of the paper would not go straight into the slot because there is no wide guide leads to the slot. I had an old cheap one had a slope guide so that the papers are easy to go into the entrance without any problem.

Good performance

This product is not heavy duty enough for a small home based office. Does jam and does not like even 6 sheets of paper. Part of the area where the shredder teeth are is plastic. The on off switch is loose and not very precise. My 23 year old Fellows straight cut was definitely better quality.
