Color

Great stain, have used it for years on my deck

Wish I'd used this when my deck was new! Previously used a more expensive thin transparent sealer in cedartone. Was leary at first because it was thicker with a chalky tan color in the can but it quickly turned transparent and was easy to see where I'd applied. Color was rich and uniform. My deck has never looked better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product for years.  It is high quality and gives a wonderful finish.

This is a fine product and went on easy and cleaned up well.  It was recommended to me by a friend of mine who has been a professional painter for many years, so I expect it will hold up well in the sun and harsh weather.

Flood Penatrating Wood Finish for  Cedar Shingles

Very good product and performs as claimed.

Very impressed with Flood stain. Looks beautiful. The redwood color has a rich, reddish hue. I was worried it would be too orange. Excellent coverage. 1 gallon did 16x12 deck. 2 generous coats on very dry, thirsty wood. The closest thing i have to a complaint is the stirring. I stirred it over an hour and still saw swirls of color. I gave up , used it, stirred briefly very often and have no problems. Its gorgeous.

Gloss finish

We stained it with two coats a month ago and it's already wearing off!! I paid to have it done and it already needs it again. It did look good right when it was done and I can't believe a month later it looks so bad! Photos are a few weeks after it was stained. I had ordered more of it to do the side rails and just got it but I don't see the point of using it now because it will just need done again.

Only works for one month and then fades.

The can that this stain came in had large dents in it.  It's not leaking now but who knows, maybe it will in awhile?  I'd be very hesitant to buy anything online from Wal-Mart again.

Dented can
