the design is well conceived and works well. it met my goals. separating the parts made it much easier to move the ramp and be able to use it in different locations. I'm going to try to load the scooter into mu SUV using the ramp so I can transport the scooter. I think it would be helpful if the first pin to be inserted was a little longer, 1/4 inch, so both pins didn't have to be inserted almost simultaneously. I also think rounding or pointing the pin ends would help with insertion.

I'm so glad I bought this ramp. It's sturdy, relatively lightweight, and folds easily for transport. It makes it possible for me to safely get my father in and out of the house without injury. I wish I had bought it years ago.

Lifesaving Product

This is perfect for those that use a walker. My mom is able to walk off her two step deck with this ramp. It allows for more independence. And it is a very easy set up and take down. Very convenient!

Portable 6' foldable ramp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delivery was prompt, unfortunately I haven't opened the box yet. I am waiting for my wheelchair bound daughter's husband to install it. Their visit was postponed because of the virus. But thank you for your prompt service.

I brought this for my wife to use not only for her scooter, but for her to get in the house, it set up within mins in I installed the two pins that came with it to the concrete. I like the fact if I want to I just need to pull the pins out and move the release pin on ramp and then I can fold it up and take it with me. I really like this ramp.

PVI Aluminum Multi-Fold Wheelchair Ramp

I was looking for an alternative to having a ramp with big side rails for use in my garage. This is terrific. The 12 foot looked at first to have too much sag in the middle, but it was great! One of the best features is it's portability. It breaks into two FOLDING sections that greatly reduces the weight making it easier for me to lift, since I have back trouble. I installed the pins into the door entry plate and leave it in position most of the time. Very happy buyer!!!

i definitely recommend this ramp and would buy it again!

I purchased this ramp to take from San Antonio Texas to Joplin Missouri for use at our son's home. It was light enough for me (a72 year old woman) to lift in and out of the trunk of the car. It did not take up an inordinate amount of room, and was easy to unfold and place across the front steps. It was also less expensive to purchase than renting one for 5 days. My wheelchair bound husband was able to drive his power chair up the sidewalk and into the home easily. The ramp is now installed over steps into the back entrance of our home. It helps me roll my cart filled with grocery bags into the house instead of working to get it up it step.

A great little ramp

If made it with 10 pound less will the best on 6' long is't not as light like show at the video with the ladie, I weight one of the ramp was 20 # each that is 40# , that ladie can't handle that easy has it look, even for me is heavy. My opinion is that is less important the 800 # holder than 30 # heavy.

Can be better

Not as useful for the purpose as expected. I had intended it to be used as a wheelchair ramp in a van. However, trying to manipulate it into position and removing it was not something one person can easily do. So, bottom line. The ramp is ok for some purposes, but not as portable and adaptable as expected.
