[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got the Prang Sketcho Oil crayons I was excited to use them. Perhaps more excited than the kids. These crayons remind me of my childhood and getting to use them in art class every once in a while. The first thing I did was I made a rainbow and blended the colors together. It is a bit messy but fun to blend the colors. I can't wait to see what different things that I can do with these crayons. Oh and of course the kids can use them sometimes. I would definitely recommend to those who love to create.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used Payons before and decided to try the water color crayons with my daughter for a fun crafternoon.  They drew smoothly as we created our designs and we then pulled out the brushes and water to go over them.  The color flowed smoothly and left defining lines where the crayons originally drew creating an awesome effect! In addition to making great finished pieces, using the water color crayons was so much less messy.  We look forward to creating more with them and definitely recommend giving them a try!

Great Water Color Crayons

We got a small bowl of water to dip crayon in and presto it worked like a watercolor!!! He loved it and drew to his hearts content. I highly recommend this product for fun times and projects.

Easy to Use

You can use this crayons for many uses: oil painting effect, pastel drawing effect, staining effect and transparent effect. 
The dice are perfect for big and little hands, my daughter love drawing with them!

Great for coloring!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my daughter who is 5. I've honestly never seen anything like them before!! Her and I sat down and drew with them ( I would recommend supervision with a young one, on the package it said they could stain clothing) I had her draw a picture and then pulled out some water and a paint brush, she was confused but loved it when she realized what they did! I would definitely recommend these!

Neat crayons!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oil crayons came in a set of 12 colors. They are so bright and thick on the paper, my kids had a lot of fun shading with them. These oil crayons create art that's abstract by merely using and drawing with them and I could see the gears turning in the way my kids were thinking while using them. My kids and I spent a lot of time coloring with these, and I was able to share tips/tricks. Highly recommend these oil crayons for an exciting art adventure. Try the shading/smudging with these, it's the best part in my opinion!!

Better than regular crayons or markers

My daughter loved the beautiful, and natural bright colors of these crayons, and not only did she love the feel of the crayons while she was drawing, but loved the fact that these crayons do not smear at all. I will definitely be buying more of these Sketcho oil crayons for her art classes. I give them an A+

Excellent PRANG Sketcho oil crayons!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try these crayoms out with my daughter, because we like to draw and color....a lot.  The packaging says they can be used multiple different ways...as is, dip in water, or like paint.  We decided to dip inwater and see.  Well, sadly some of them were not sticking to the hard protector so it made it difficult to color without getting the actual coloring on our fingers.  In my opinion, it didn't go on like watercolor or paint.  It looked basically like a crayon...super bummed.  We will just use these for coloring I suppose!

It's ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try these out since I've been channeling my inner artist. I used it on sketch paper and it was okay. It does not cover as well as other products, at least on paper, but it works. My 9 year old was having a blast drawing and shading. It's perfect for kids. If you're a real artist, it's not the highest quality, but it does the job. I wouldn't purchase this again for myself, but for my kids I would. Great learning tool!

Great for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've just recently started using watercolor paints, but I've only used the type in the tray. I was intrigued by these crayon style watercolor paints. 
The packaging is simple, but pretty. On the back are the directions, they're simple, and easy to understand. I appreciate that the inner packaging is also wrapped in plastic, which kept them in place. 
You receive 8 colors. I call these the classic colors. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, and black. 
I tried the two application techniques on the back. First I wet the color then used my brush to apply the color. Easy, and I thought the color came out well on paper. The second technique was to dip the color into the water and then apply directly to paper. This for me didn't work as well as the brush application, but I was still able to apply the color. 
Each color is encased in a card board holder, so your fingers aren't touching the crayon. When you need more crayon you just tip it, and it slides down. The second application technique might not work so great, if the color keeps sliding up into the tube, so you may eventually need to take the color out. The colors dry nicely, and I was able to restore them back into the original case. 
I'm not sure if I'm in love with these, but they do work and would be easy for a young child to create art with.

Classic colors

This is a terrible product this is related to Jumanji Lion Roars and Lucifer's growl hiss from Walt Disney's 1950 animated film "Cinderella" and in terrible 2005 style. This product MUST BE REPLACED by Crayola Kid's First Jumbo Washable Crayons which I am reintroducing forever. Here are the pictures of the product this product will be replaced by. Crayola's Kid's First Jumbo Washable Crayons works better than these large crayons from Prang because Crayola's Kid's First Jumbo Washable Crayons are safe and effective for children under 3 years old and the large crayons from prang are not. And Crayola's Kid's First Jumbo Washable Crayons will come in different sorts of colors like Classic Colors, Bright Colors, and Skin Tone Colors and Crayola Kid's First Jumbo Washable Crayons even have fun names for kids to learn about colors.
