This is a great value for your money. It is sturdy construction. Really nice modern handles. My husband is a contractor, so maybe he had some advantage to putting it together - but he got it done in less then 1 hr. taking his time along the way. Well worth it.

There is a lot of room to fit CD's, many DVD's, and even those old VHS tapes if you have some hanging around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely want 2 people to help this along.  the door shelves dont exactly line up well for standard dvd cases (decided to make a small shelf for remotes and cd storage) but it would work for blu rays very well. Definitely separate the keys and put one on your house key if you tend to lose keys, tho. Also, the locking mechanism doesn't have predrilled place holes, so that part was probably the most difficult.

Nice, attractive, sturdy cabinet. Top row across doors and back of cabinet is set for CDs, second shelf on doors for Blu ray, and bottom two shelves on doors and three shelves on cabinet back are for DVDs. I have more DVDs than the other, so ran out of room, for my DVDs. Ended up stacking DVDs where CD/Blu ray should be. Super easy to put together.

Elegant cabinet

When I saw this cabinet with a locking system to it, I was thrilled because I've had my movies all stolen in the past. Now, if they want my movies...they'll have to take the entire unit! This unit was very easy to put together. I did have some difficulty with one of the screws for the locking piece (the screw stripped almost immediately), but after some jimmy-rigging, I was able to salvage it. The locking lever for the non-key locking door is a little temperamental, but I'm generally able to put it into lock position.

Two pieces of contention with this unit. First, while I get the "security divider" being there as a weight bearer and to fill the gap between the doors, its presence makes it difficult to get any movies from behind that divider. My other problem with this unit and probably the most disappointing is that if you're storing a mix of DVD and Bluray, you wind up with these odd shelves that would only realistically hold a small book or CD case, laying down. You essentially lose a little storage room with this odd shelf. The fixed shelf is placed for a DVD (7 pegs down) and if you do the same thing (7 pegs in between), you end up with 3 or 4 odd man out pegs and the weird shelf.

Overall, I'm happy with the unit and have plans to purchase a second one in the near future for my future media storage needs.

Great storage, misleading at times.

My toddler wouldn't stay out of my movies and games.  This does the trick.  Put it all together and it looks and works great.  Don't necessarily like the latch system for the door w/o a key lock.  And, the dowels that support the shelves were missing.  Of course my local hardware store didn't have any small enough.  I had to buy some that were too big and carve them down.  Now that is all done, and i'm very happy with the final product.  I'm going to get another one, or one similar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions to assemble are very poor. The parts are not numbered so you have to guess which part is what on the drawing. I picked a wrong part and messed up the assembly which I was not able to correct

We actually ordered two. One did not come with instructions, luckily the other did. My husband cursed a lot trying to put this together. He said it was overly difficult, and some parts were very cheaply made, including the lock. For the price, I don't think it was worth it. Maybe if it was 50.00. Also, I suppose bc it ships from Canada there is a lot of room for abuse, it was scratched and I will have to fix that too.

Nice when finished, but a pain to actually put together, first off the pieces do not have labels, and there are absolutely no spare screws or fasteners, so be careful and the lock is not really what I expected. But for the purpose of holding a growing collection it actually is an ok product.

This is the worst thing to put together! the doors wont stay closed and there are no pre drilled holes for the locking mechanism and the lock only locks one side and they give you a crappy plastic peice to lock the other side by hand and you have to reach in to the other side to do and you cant if you have dvds there! the screws holes for the handles are covered by the wall of the door so they cant be put in straight.
It came all scratched up and got worse as we put it together the paint chipped off the side 
This has been the worst furniture to put together definitely not work 150 dollars!! Only worth maybe 50!
