This review is premature.  I've bought 3 of these in the last week and a half. So far they seem to be of better quality than others that don't last even a few months.

Aquastretch hose

This hose works great. Stretches a lot and then retracts quickly. Great connections to hook up quickly and disconnect fast. The hose holder is handy also.

Great hose! Love how the water drains out as it drains the hose gathers back to a compact size and roll up easy! When in use it extends  fully and doesn't get all tangled up. Used to wash my card and watering the plants. Great and easy no hassle product!

Excellent hose for certain tasks that don't require one of those big, heavy 100-ft hoses.  This thing only weighs a couple of pounds, and shrinks when no water is in it.  Very easy to use and doesn't take up much space when stored.  Comes with its own storage rack.

Perfect hose for most outside household tasks.

These are decent to own if you are willing to make concessions, and take the time to use them in the most efficient way.

1. Do not over stretch them
2. The protective fabric will fray if rubbed against rough surfaces
3.  They need pressure to expand, Put a nozzle on that you can adjust, let it expand, and don't let out too much water at once or it will start shrinking.
4. When finished shut off the main supply and let it retract and hang it back in place.
5. Enjoy!

Knowledge about these is everything!

Hose works as intended but has a draw back. It is not 50 ft until the hose is charged making it difficult for sprinkler systems. Otherwise good hose for the price

I have been using hoses that expand for years and as the price has climbed, the quality have diminished. this hose lasted 60 days or less before springing leaks. Expandable hoses need to be discharged when you turn off the hose bib. this means, the hose is empty of water and retracts. If you leave it "charged" or full of water, the life ends quickly. Other people using your hose will Destroy them for you (think of your gardener or painter etc). so discharge your hose. and if you do this and the hose springs the minorest leak, return it asap as the quality is inferior.
