Works great on my new induction stove top.  Just be careful of the weight limit for your particular stove top.  I weighed my canner with 3 quarts of water and 18 full (of meat and veggie soup) wide mouth pint jars and it was just under 47 pounds.  Quite heavy, so just be careful and don't overload.

We bought an induction burner stove at the beginning of canning season, and of course, my old aluminum canner did not work on the new stove. I gave several pounds of green beans away. I even bought a portable electric burner. I was unsuccessful in three tries. The burner just didn't get hot enough to produce the amount of pressure needed. I finally borrowed the stoves of two friends and was successful in canning green beans with my old canner. The induction compatible canners are very hard to come by. I visited lots of websites and entered my email address so that I could be contacted when they were in stock. I was thrilled to hear from Walmart and ordered one immediately. It arrived a day earlier than expected and I have used it twice in the week that I have had it. It works great. Life is so much easier when you have the correct tools.

I have needed to replace my pressure canner for a long time.  This is prestos classic 23 quart canner, most home counters have this in their home or they at least started out with this one.  it has some nice built-in safety features and includes everything you need to get started with canning. I do wish it came with a second rack so that you can stack points when youI do wish it came with a second rack so that you can stack pints.  But a second rack was easy to find.

Perfect canner

After having wasted my money on a different brand of pressure canner, I was so happy to find the Presto pressure canner! The canner holds 26 half-pint jars, 20 pints jars and 7 quart jars making canning faster! The Presto pressure canner is heavy duty, well made and can even be used on glass top stoves providing your glass top can hold 50 pounds or more. The pressure canner can also be used for pressure cooking large quantities or as a water bath canner.
If you want quality then look no further than the Presto pressure canner!

This is a great canning pressure cooker to learn with.v Also, it is not as heavy as some, which was a factor when making this purchase.   The number of jars that can be processed at one time is great!  It was delivered in good condition and days earlier then expected.

Very happy with this product!

We used this and canned 140 veggies and fruit!!!  I honestly neverr canned before and this had perfect instructions and recipes for the things i was canning,  green beans and peaches mainly I did. Also, I have a flat top stove and thought it wouldn't do, and almost bought another stove with coils tp do it. I didnt get the stove and used the flat top and it was a success! No issues and 3 days later my stove and canner were working full force with no issues.

Great for first time canners

Wow, how nice to finally have a pressure canner that holds so many jars!  Presto has always made a good canner, but this 23 qt is great!  I measured the distance from my stove top too the bottom of my microwave, I easily am able to pull my stove out 3 inches in order for this canner to fit.  If you have a above the stove microwave, check your height because if you have little space this may be too big.  I love it!

I like that it is a trusted brand name. I was replacing one that my grandmother had used. the workmanship and material were just as durable as the one I inherited. it was easy to set up and work perfect the first time.

tall and narrow. Not able to fit 7 Quart jars in it. Also don't like the pressure gauge attached to the lid.  Not easy removal
