I have not had a hot air popper for years and thought I'd try one because microwave popcorn is really so awful. This Presto is a CHAMP. It was fast, and very efficient, and has this little cup to measure and it doubles to melt butter, and while there are some unpopped kernels, there weren't many. The result was so much nicer than microwave popcorn so it makes me wonder why I waited so long. The price is very reasonable, actually dirt cheap, but the quality is quite high. Its durable and well made. The one I got is yellow, so its bright and sunny. After using it was a breeze to wipe off and put away. Kicking myself for taking so long to buy one. Highly recommended, plus WalMart shipped it very quickly.

I really like the idea of a hot air popcorn popper but haven't found one that works well until this one! super quick, super easy and delicious popcorn without the mess of unpopped popcorn kernels flying everywhere.  The only thing that would make it better is an on/off switch.

Best Hot Air Popcorn Popper

Works as advertised. I burned one pot doing popcorn on the stovetop so I needed something safer and healthier  since I eat lots of popcorn. Only wished this had auto shut off, but that's not a feature. The bucket from an older Cuisinart popcorn maker works perfectly with this. I'm satisfied and would recommend it.

Excellent product

Very happy with popper! Popped kernels are big and fluffy with no un-popped kernels remaining; use high quality popping corn for best results. Be sure to have big bowl ready when using maximum amount of popcorn but remember you can pop smaller amounts too. ONLY REGRET is that we didn't purchase this as soon as it came on the market years ago. Fun for kids to watch popcorn fly out of popper.

So easy! So healthy!

My mother gave me an earlier version of the Presto Hot Air Popcorn Popper. I used it for very many years.  She passed away 19 years ago and the popcorn popper eventually failed. I think my girlfriend overloaded it. I needed another one in memory of my mother's gift. This one works better than the original one.

Mom's gift

It needs a On / Off lighted rocker switch on the front. Having to  plug it in each time to start it is kind of cheap. Other than that, it works great. I like it a lot. Years ago I had one of these and one winter the heater where I was living quit working so I took the top off and ran it for a few weeks during the freezing weather and later fixed the heating: It worked fine, never burned up, I got rid of it and most of my things when I moved. Now I have another one. My heater works here. This popcorn popper makes great popcorn.

Lighted On / Off rocker switch.

So far so good.  We received this a couple of days ago and have used it twice.  It's sturdier than I expected, it certainly works well.  I got one of these at least 25 years ago, believe it was also a Presto, back  when they came out.  It  survived moves, thousands of uses, and finally cracked because of what we did to it.  This promises also to be a good one. Price was good.  Yellow color was cheaper and it's cute.

Seems good, happy with purchase, used so far twice

We got this air popper to replace our old one. I really like that it has all the information you need on the machine itself (how much popcorn to put in, including cup measurement info if you are not using the scoop).  Cord storage spot is a nice bonus, too. Those are both features our old popper didn't have.

I like it!

It's sad to say it's another bad popper for me. Strange, that the kernels were big, it popped
almost all the kernels, but they were tough like eating gum. I used Great Value popcorn, the same popcorn I always use so maybe different popcorn would be different. For me the popper goes back and I guess I will keep trying until I can find one that will do the job.

ANOTHER BAD POPPER

I dislike that it doesn't have an on/off button and that you have to unplug it while it's running.  When you first plug it in , it shoots out kernels that I try throwing back in since it pops enough for one person only instead of a good amount for 2 people
