I've been using my Presto Poplite twice a week for a month.  I've used both more expensive yellow popcorn (Jolly Time Select) and Great Value (Walmart) Yellow popping corn which is NON GMO.  It doesn't matter if I'm popping 1/2 a cup of kernals or only 2 T, I usually end up with 6 unpopped kernals that get shot out of the popper before it actually begins popping.  I end up with a few old maids as well.  2 T of corn makes 3-4 C of popcorn.  No, it's not quite as tasty as corn popped in oil, but I feel better about eating it, and it's very easy.  I remove the upper hard plastic chamber after the corn is done popping per the instructions and have avoided and problems with it warping from the heat.

This popper is wonderful! Pops popcorn really fast and a lot of it. Wide spout that is turned down a bit makes sure the popcorn goes into the bowl.  Popcorn is light and fluffy.Love the color.

Presto popper pops great popcorn

We love popcorn but cooking it on the stove or even microwaving does not help with the calories. The air popper was our solution. Although its a little slower, once it goes, you better be ready with a big bowl! It pops more kernels than our other two alternatives. It is a little dry but we spray it with our zero calorie spray margarine. Add a little salt, garlic, onion powder or your favorite seasoning and you have a great guilt-free snack. Enjoy!

Guilt-free snack!

it was a full bowl of delicious scatch free popcorn.  but i am eating it up. it works as said in about 2.5min you have a huge bowl of yummy popcorn. The butter melter scoop is a little impractical because the corn finishes popping long before the butter melts. i just popped it in the microwave.

my new best friend

I like this popper.  It is lightweight,  easy to put away.  Stays clean because it doesn't pop into its own bowl.  Kernels pop in a metal chamber, reducing the popcorn's contact with plastic.   Fast and pops nearly all the kernels.  What would make it 5 Stars? An on off switch with auto shutoff when popping is completed; shorter height option, ability to pop less than 1/4 c. kernels; a non-plastic butter melter.

I like it.  Use it every night.

This item was delivered and work fine until the second time I went to use it and it worked for about 10 seconds and shut itself off. I unplugged and tried a different plug to be certain it wasn't the power. source. Again, nothing. 

While I am at it, let me say this item is EXTREMELY CHEAPLY made and I have no confidence in Presto products moving forward. Being a former Buyer for a major retailer, I can ASSURE you after having this popper in my home to witness performance as well as workmanship?

Yes, it could be an isolated problem but what does that say about Presto's Quality Control?
It should retail for about $16.00 TOPS. I have started my refund.

The kernels go everywhere even though I have more than adequate size bowl to collect the popcorn. This is a shameful product from a manufacturer that has exceptionally LOW standards %26 it's just a money grab so I absolutely DO NOT recommend wasting your money on this..

Stopped Working after 3 days - Overpriced Garbage

I have only had it a couple months it made one batch and wouldn't start again. I would expect a product to last at least a couple years not a couple months of using it every other week.

Not reliable long term

got very hot, took 3 minutes to start, then so hot had to get away from it 
made very dry popcorn .
kernels flew everywhere 
worst hot air popper ever made . And that I ever owned .I'll cook mine on the stove like old days .
 waste of money. worst ever after 3 times using when in my dumpster

This air popper did not pop the popcorn properly and the kernels were chewy. This is a huge disappointment and waste. Use a pot with a lid instead.

Poor design. Once the kernels pop, they do not exit the popper but become clogged. This caused immediate burning and I would never have one in my house. This popper is a fire hazard.
