My second Nomad. The only slow cooker to buy. great for home and traveling.

Go Pack Go!!!

https://www.gopresto.com/

I bought the 8 quart Nomad especially to use for work potlucks because I liked that it has a handle that makes it easy to carry from my car into my workplace. I like the utensil holder and the little whiteboard as well. My only complaint is that there is no timer mechanism. But it's light years easier for me to carry do my goal was met in purchasing this. I got a lot of comments about it at the last potluck. I think some of my coworkers want one now.

Handle makes carrying a breeze.

I have the 6 qt.for many years. I bought it for my husband. He's a long haul truck driver. Works great. Doesn't spill. I used it in our home. It not only cooks great, I use it to take to family gatherings. Travels great. Don't have to worry about spilling in your vehicle. Then I just plug it in, when I arrive to my destination. Everyone in my family wants one. I never could find another until now. I ordered the 8 qt. Great for dressing for thanksgiving and Christmas. I cook dressing in oven in the pan that comes with presto, then pop it back into the cooker to keep warm and serve. I love this item. Last forever. I also make many other dishes in it including peach cobbler. Totally recommend this product. A

walmart.com

I love this slow cooker. It is the easiest slow cooker I have ever had for transporting hot food. It is a lot lighter because the pot is metal instead of ceramic, That does mean the cooking isn't quite as even, and it doesn't seem to get as hot as the ceramic ones, so I use the high heat setting most of the time. All in all I really like it.

Great For Transporting!

So nice to take on Holidays easy to carry. or for camping. very handy.

So easy to carry

I actually liked everything about this item.

Love the travel capabilities and the overall look! Received many compliments!!

Love this!!

Only used twice, so far, but worked perfectly for transporting cooked food. Also used for reheating smoked ribs while group hunted deer, ribs were delicious and perfectly warmed. Have not used as slow cooker.

Perfect for transporting food!

My sister LOVES this portabke crockpot! The features are great and the travel ability is a huge plus. Nice color too!

Great, unique gift

when set on low, this cooker does not maintain food at a high enough temp to be safe. it will hold food around 120 degrees which is is the danger zone under 140. literally not food safe in that regard and lacks the power to cook well on high. pretty much a joke. buy a cheap one and get amazing performance in comparison to this one.

low temp setting is not food safe
