This little guy has performed well so far.  It isn't big, but it is plenty big enough to be useful. 
A double handful of  fries fits in the basket and it doesn't take long to cook a batch, and it recovers the temp well.  I can get a couple batches done pretty quickly(a heaping pile on a paper plate) and that is plenty of fries for two or three people. 
I have not tried anything else but I am thinking shrimp and things like chicken tenders will be easy, easier than fries any day.

I wasn't aware that deep fryers of this size even existed. Many times in the past, I have passed on some delicious recipes and some great selections of frozen foods (especially fish) in the supermarket, because I live alone and couldn't see the point in owning a big honkin' deep fryer, that required gallons of oil to operate, just to cook meals for myself. But then I discovered this Presto compact deep fryer and the rules changed for me. I now get to enjoy deep frying foods for myself with this fryer and I know that you will too. What are you waiting on?

Fantastic mini deep fryer

This was to replace my Fry Daddy that broke after many years. Like this one much better with the basket and the lid which fry daddy did not have. Also has temp control which is great as well even though you have to use it turned up all the way most of the time.

Heats up very quickly. 
it would be better if they added a hook to be able to drain the oil without holding it. But otherwise perfect.

Really good find

This lil deep fryer is perfect for the single serve portions. The down side I've seen is you can't remove it inner chamber for draining the oil n washing. Also if you fry meats like chicken or fish they must be bite size pieces.

This is our second fryer of this brand, first one lasted over 10 years. Works great and easy to clean.

Great little fryer

Just used the fryer for the first time last night.  Worked great just not as much room as I had anticipated but was sufficient to use for three of us.  More people and you need a larger capacity.   Both easy to use and the filter on top is nice.  No grease smell in the room

I would purchase again

It is ok, but it wasn't quite what I wanted.   The basket isn't designed like I thought.   It doesn't sit upon the fryer when brought up out of it.   The older one I used to have did.

I purchased this deep fryer sometime in July of 2021. It is now November of 2021. IT DOESN'T WORK. I followed all the directions for the handling and care for this item. I don't recommend this item because after faithfully following ALL DIRECTIONS, it just stopped working. Now I have to go and purchase another deep fryer.....
