Ease Of Cleaning

The most impressive appliance in decades!!!
I'm not easily impressed, but this gadget is a 
1. Time saver...19 minutes for a dozen eggs
2. Saves me money on electricity because it doesn't heat up the house like boiling water
3. Cooks to perfection...No guess work

This appliance is fantastic. I cook 12 eggs, medium, transfer them to cold water, put them back in the carton, and that's my breakfast for the week. Eggs are creamy and all turn out the same way. This is the way to go. Great job Presto!!!

FASTEST WAY TO COOK EGGS.......PERIOD!

Does a great job, but included measuring cup doesn't seem to make sense. Shows more water required to hard boil 1 egg than 12 eggs. Otherwise, great.

The Presto Egg Cooker is a smart machine it actually knows when the eggs are done by the amount of water you add. It doesn't need a timer. When your eggs are ready the light turns off and you hear a buzz. This egg cooker is simple to use and very easy to clean. You can even store you eggs. in it in the refrigerator. I love this egg cooker so much that I am going to buy my mom one for her birthday. This egg cooker will make your life easier and you will have more time for other things. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get the "Presto 12 Egg Electric Egg Cooker", we always make angel eggs for the holidays, and most all family gatherings, using the big pot to boil a dozen eggs, takes a while for the water to heat, and start cooking the eggs, it takes up your valuable burner space if your making a big meal, and if you should get busy, and forget about them then you end up with a dry pan, burnt eggs, and a smelly house, so I was happy to get to try this cooker. I was hoping it had a timer so I would not have to worry about it, and it does kinda, you put the amount of water in it to determine if you want soft boiled eggs, medium, or hard boiled eggs, then you put the egg holder in place, then add the amount of eggs you want to cook, you can cook anywhere from 1-12 eggs at a time, placed in any spot or order you wish, you then put the lid on, plug in the cord, and forget about it, until the built in buzzer sounds then they are done, cooked perfectly the way you wanted according to the amount of water you used. You want to remove them to a bowl of cold water ASAP, so the cooking process will stop. I followed all the directions, and when I removed the eggs I just wanted to see if all the water was gone, and to my disappointment the egg holder had melted to the heating unit, Its possible its just my unit that is bad, but I think the plastic holder could be a little better made. I have mixed feelings about it, it did work great, cooked the eggs to perfection, but I can't use mine again because of the deformation, sooo??
