Saw this at America's Test Kitchen and though it was not rated number one, it was rated as number two and "best for the money". It seems to deserve that. Easy to use and makes those thick Belgian Waffles we all love. Cleaned up easily.

Makes good Belgian Waffles

Love this waffle iron!  Researched on-line and decided on this model for $40.  Heats up faster than I can get the (Bisquick) batter prepared.  Each waffle takes 4 minutes and uses 1 cup of batter.  Good to measure because I learned the hard way that more than 1 cup causes overflow.  Used blueberries for a few waffles with 3/4 cup batter and 1/4 cup fruit.  Waffles came out perfect!!!  One of the BEST things about this product is its ability to store upright in a small space!!

Easy to Use Space Saver

Since I am almost 65 years old I have had quite a few waffles in my lifetime and these were top notch.  Don't remember when I had such a well cooked and tasting waffle, especially in the home.  I even had some after making and freezing and still especially tasty.

Best Waffle Ever!

I love that it stands for easy storage, I have used it at least 10 times now and none of my waffles have stuck so its definitely nonstick. I have tried 3 different waffle recipes. Only thing Ive noticed is one side always gets a nice golden brown compared to the other.

Once you figure out the the proper batter amount and the appropriate cooking time, this appliance is sensational. After two attempts, I dialed in the perfect procedure and now produce flawless waffles. They're always golden brown, crispy on the surface, and light and fluffy on the inside. We eat waffles 4 or 5 times a week. I love this thing. No more pancakes and their mess for me. FYI - I use "just shy" of one cup of batter, (Bisquick), and cook for 5 minutes and 20 seconds.

Flawless, when you figure it out.

My story on how I ended up purchasing a waffle maker. My son was taken by his Father to have breakfast at a Waffle House when they were on their own on a Saturday I had to work. Since then our son begged to be taken to the Waffle House every weekend! Finally, I asked what he liked so much about that place. He said, "the waffles". Then I found myself ordering on line...I am not a pancake or waffle eating person. lol.... But the instructions were clear and simple to follow. The waffle turned out perfect! I used the Aunt Jemima recipe on the box.... Our son said, "I never want to go back to the Waffle House! These are perfect!". Did I mention his is 5 1/2 yrs old! I am very pleased and have a very happy little boy at home.

Awesome Waffle Maker

Love how it stores upright to take up way less space. The flip feature is great to ensure both sides get evenly crisped. The whole waffle pops out and leaves nothing behind, so cleanup is pretty much nonexistent. I use Kodiak cakes mix for reference and add an egg for extra protein. Just peep that waffle game though! Thanks Presto Flipside! Never going out for brunch again. I call these WOWffles.

Super Easy, Super Fast, Super Clean

Its always hard to find a good waffle  maker that will give you that crispy and fluffy waffle i really so my research before make a big product buy this one had a lot of good reviews. So i tried it out and i absolutely love, it every thing i love in a waffle. Now i did have some bad ones at first getting used to a new product it going to happen but i highly recommend this

Waffle maker

Love it, so much! better than the ones that don't flip. It takes 1 or 2 waffles to adjust with your recipe but more or less they cook in 3.5 to 4 mins. as long as you work fast in terms of pouring 3/4 cup of batter, closing it right away and turning it over.

However, the price tag is pretty high (this is why I gave it 4 stars), if this one lasts me 2-3 years if I make waffles twice a week then its worth the $47.25 I paid.

Tip: when you are trying to figure out what time is best, I will say it will not be under 3 mins. because these are pretty thick waffles, but just look for the steam to stop or calm down because the first 2 were over done for my taste. Also you should use a oil spray to help with the release, which is pretty easy if you loosen the edges before flipping onto your plate. The manual suggests oiling the plates down with a brush or paper-towel for the first waffle so I will try that next time instead of spraying before each waffle.

Ceramic plates are a plus , but the base is cheap flimsy plastic. The lever to hold it upright is so thin it barely holds the waffle iron in upright position. Very disappointed in the waffles, but fairly easy to use.
I should have bought the cheaper version and a different brand. Presto is not as good as it used to be.
