I purchased the 17qt because I wanted to be able to do water bath canning as well as pressure canning.. The instructions are great. I used it the day after Thanksgiving to pressure cook turkey soup. Fit 5 large mouth jars. The step by step instructions are great. The machine tells you what to do and when.  I'm excited to do more canning.

this is a great appliance although tall replaced two separate appliances in my small space. I love this canner as it does both water bath and pressure canning.Easy to use.

Presto Pricise is fabulous!

I tried it out, it takes longer than the regular pressure canner, but you can leave it without having to watch the pressure gauge all the time.  It also takes longer to depressurize, so you need about 3-4 hours to can salmon or meat.

Difficult to use, the instructions are only in English... The recipes are also only in English, in fact, everything is only in English, no word in French.

It dies like the others before using it fully. These are crap units being sold through Walmart ( not their sells ) by 3rd party sellers and they are repurposed and returned items. Stay way from buying as I did. What a nightmare with returns and getting my money back.
