I love the clumping formula. My cat was peeing outside of gis litter box when I was using other cat litters and he now uses the litter box with Pretty Litter. I don't understand the negative comments about the clumping formula. I love it more than the original because I'm able to scoop out the pee now.

Love it!

LOVE this clumping litter. It is very soft on my cats' feet and they love to dig. Both my cats love deep litter so this is perfect. It does turn really hard, but with deep litter it is no trouble at all. I love that it isn't dusty, and I have no tracking (I do have a rug there, but nothing on my floors). There is no smell. A benefit I enjoy is if I'm there I can scoop it the second they hop out - it never falls apart (initially it's like a strong jello/gelatin). I've used many kinds of litter over the years (>40) and I like this one the best so far. I prefer it over their's and others non-clumping/crystal formulas. Initially I was buying the crystal formulas because of their advertising of less weight but I found that while lighter initially, the weight is terrible when it is "used" ...you are carrying out urine saturated crystal. My cats are getting older and I love being able to monitor their output fir acidity, alkalinity, and blood. I also found it 'dehydrates' their %232 very quickly, so no smell ever and easy to pick up. I highly recommend this litter. I do keep my litter deep (~3 inches) so their urine never sticks anywhere. As I mentioned, both my cats are diggers so when scooping and trying to find their presents, I love that they never break apart. This is the best litter I have ever bought. I've been using for about 6  months now, and happy every day! On first use, honestly, it's as if my cats stepped on it and said yah hoo!!!

I mix “lotus” + “clumping” pretty litter(s)! This makes the litter last longer, the clumps are not cemented to the walls as the mix is a nice balance!

Super pretty litter

My cat doesn't pee outside of his litter box since I discovered Pretty Litter and there is no ammonia smell from the urine! I don't know why some people don't like the clumping formula compared to the original. I love the clumping formula!

Love this litter!

This litter is the best I have ever bought. I've had cats for nearly 30 years and have tried numerous brands of litter.
This reformulated it and came up with a clumping litter which is fantastic for urine.  Rather than stirring the urine into the litter, you scoop all the clumps out. It's amazing.  There is very little tracking and no clay dust to kill their lungs or get all over everything.  Yes it's more expensive but for all it does, it's worth it.  I have my 2 boxes at the front entrance of my apartment and you cannot smell the litter.  I clean it daily as well.

Best litter ever!

Clumps are nice and hard, and it covers smell well.  However, product is too light and more of it sticks to the cats' paws and gets tracked out of the litterbox and onto the house floor.

Good Product but gets tracked onto the floor more

I used this litter years ago and it was awesome.  I had them send it to me directly from Pretty Litter.  I then found Walmart sells the 10lb bag so I got 5 bags from them.  Years ago this was the best litter but now it is awful.  It is dustier than clay and it tracks horribly but the most disappointing thing about this litter is that they must have changed the formula of this litter because it is now like clumping litter - the urine clumps up and turns hard, there is no way you can spread it out.  It acts like clay litter, clumping and it also now sticks to the litter pan.  It is just not worth the money - if you want clumping litter, buy cheap clay.

Very disappointed - don't buy

This litter has all the drawbacks of both regular clumping clay litter and regular non-clumping pretty litter in one appallingly overpriced bag. The non-clumping unscented pretty litter does a great job, we don't use anything else, but I accidentally ordered this and figured I'd try it. 

Omg, NO. 

Regular clay clumping litter creates clumps that are a solid mass that can be collected and disposed of, but the odour is much stronger than pretty litter. 

Regular pretty litter doesn't do anything to reduce the solid waste odours, but does eliminate all urine odours, and leaves the solid waste easy to clean and dispose of. It does need to be minimally stirred around when the solid waste is removed. This ensures that the liquid waste is evenly dispersed throughout the crystals for the most effective absorption and odour control.

This clumping Pretty Litter doesn't allow for the stirring distribution of urine, and so the regular twice daily box cleaning doesn't control urine odour. In addition to this, it somehow enhances the fecal odour. The “clumps” are looser than clay litters, and considerably messier, so you end up with a box of sloppy super stinky semi clumped crystals reeking of urine, and fecal matter that, because of the sloppy clumping, is difficult to remove and can easily become saturated with the urine. If I could give this litter negative stars, I absolutely would, but I want to let others benefit from my mistakes. 10/10 would not recommend, ever. 

I would absolutely recommend the non-clumping unscented pretty litter. That product is a game changer. It appears more expensive than the other alternatives, but it stays fresh much longer if regularly cleaned and stirred around, so it ends up being on par, if not less expensive in the long run. 

The clumping one and the scented one would make excellent gifts for folks you loathe, but for the fact that no cat deserves this garbage for litter.

Clumping Pretty Litter is repulsive.

I bought this litter and it was a bad decision. The first day it turned into a rock. It's frustrating to buy such expensive litter only to get the same results as regular litter 😕. I contacted the company and they refused to help when this product turned out to be defective.

This product is defective. The litter turned to stone the same day my cat used it. It shouldn't happen, but it did. I'm very frustrated with this product.
