Easy setup! The manual was a little faded, but other than that it was easy to follow. The box is heavy, but individual pieces are light. Feels extremely sturdy. I'm a single female and I put it together in no time! Comes with everything you need also so you don't need extra tools.

When i ordered this cage i didn't think it would be as big as it is for the price and its got great space!

I have one rat on the top level and the other on the bottom, they both have enough room to play and run around plus have their own little cubby to sleep in when they want to rest up for more playtime.

my rats love the ramps that are included along with the bonus hammock. the doors lock well and wont allow your ratties to escape when you're not looking. haha.

also from looking at it im sure rat owners will think that their rat will squeeze through the bars of the cage and get out that way but mine do fine they can only fit their noses out but not their bodies.

BUT BEWARE! your rats will climb these bar like Tarzan haha my one rat at the bottom does this. its amusing to see but you if dont want your rat climbing on anything then this is not the cage for you but if you dont mind and find this to be a good exercise for your little friends then this cage is awesome especially for the price!

Great Little Home For Rats!

So I looked at every similar cages and decided to go for the least expensive (this one) and I was surprised at the size and quality! Every other cage was at least $179! I was concerned because it was the least expensive, but it's great!! It's sturdy, easy to put together and the materials are great quality. Lots of little doors and two huge front openings. I would definitely recommend this cage.

Great

This cage was everything I wanted. It was big, beautiful, excellent quality, got here two days after I placed my order, and absolutely 100% easy to assemble. After reading the reviews and seeing people who put their rats in it, I decided to purchase it for my two new rats. After about the second day of my babies being home, I noticed my one had squeezed herself out through the 7/8' bars. After she got out, her sister soon followed, and my rats had escaped. Fortunately, they were too afraid to go beyond the top of the cage, so I put them back in, only to find them out hours later. I had to place them in a glass fish tank temporarily while I ordered a new one.

In short, this cage is excellent for anything bigger than rats. DO NOT GET THIS FOR YOUR RATS.

Easy to put together and the removable tray makes cleaning up your pets mess a snap! Best bang for your money on the market right now.

Works great

I love the cage all together. The size is definitely perfect for my ferret. The only things I don't like are: When putting the cage together it was very hard to get a few of the screws in due to poor welding. Also when inserting the top-level front and back into the bottom level, the bottom of the front and back did not fit correctly into the slots. I had to beat the mess out of it with a hammer and bend it with a wrench to get it in the slots. Also, the plastic level inserts tabs were broken when I took them out of the box. The stairs to the levels are very flimsy and do not stay inserted on the level. My ferret is pretty large so he goes up the level once and they fall then he can't get back down to go to the potty. I would appreciate if there are replacements. However,  I am not too happy about getting a broken level.

Assembly and Sturdiness

Loved the cage'a sturdiness and options for my new ferret. The only drawback is the wire bottom on top of the bedding pan.......the bedding gets everywhere and we had to purchase a seperate guard to prevent the bedding from getting everywhere.

Sturdy

Very good at this price. One welded spot broke probably during the shipping. There are short and long screws. Short ones are used on the side and long ones are used in the corners. installation takes two people about an hour.

Overall good

Not so easy to put together but once it is just so easy to clean . Love this product and would recommend it for chinchillas and ferrets .

Pets will love!!

the bars on the sides were bent and the pieces are not strong at all some of them did line up correctly so had to make a few adjustments. This cage is not very strong at all with some of the pieces having to fix on our own, not worth the price for sure.
