the only slight problem was the open part around the door knob it's metal on metal. you could use that spray that coats the item with grip or apply something that wouldn't rub against and rub the doorknob into knicks i guess. otherwise it does what it's supposed to do.

Great product! Exactly what I was looking for! My 23-year-old  son has autism and is an elopement risk so this is perfect for when he visits. Very strong product and unbreakable!!

It hangs on the knob so I put a small napkin inside so it doesn't scratch it. It's heavy and works well.

These are very effective when you have 
In-laws like my own who enjoy going through every room, drawer including our Master bedroom so obviously the large guest bedroom isn't enough, has enough drawers or maybe the basement is lonely. I do have my gun vault in the guest bedroom with more than 20 hands guns, shotguns, AR-15, Glock, SIG, Ruger, HK among others and AK47s. I put it their on purpose but the combination lock they cannot figure out and you know my Farher in law has tried. So these bedroom door knob locks keeps them from being nosy. What is interesting is after we started using them they don't visit as often. I highly recommend them.

this thing goes over your door knob and it has 2 keys like it tells you with it and works so good with children that like to get out of the house and know how to take the regular child-proof baby things off of the door this here is metal and they cant do nothing at all my 2 boys have known how to work all the baby proof items they have out for them now they can remove them and do anything you can think of with them just like a adult every sense my now 4 year old he was under 1 and getting out the house and escaping the crib and i had it as low as it would go and my now 2 year old has been doing the same for now sense he has been way under 1 and this door knob is the only thing that i have bought that has really worked there is nothing else that has and will work for my kids now i wish they had a car seat that they couldn't get out my boys have been getting out car seats sense they was months old its crazy i cant keep them in the seats thats the only problem i havr left with them is the car seat issue but yes buy this item and it is everything they tell you and yes its the best for the price love it thanks so much

best thing for children that knows how to do thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Price was decent (competitive with other sellers online), however, Walmart typically does better than average on prices so I was expecting to pay a bit less although I wasn't disappointed to pay the status quo rate.

The retaining ring fell out of unit causing lock assembly to fall out.  I was able to reassemble but afraid the retaining ring will fall out again.  Retaing ring, in my opinion, should be a D- clip.

Heavy duty, works for the temporary help that I need to secure unattended rooms.  No problem with unlocking, however sometimes locking came be difficult.

Does what it's supposed to do.
One complaint is that when closing the device, the outside edges are sharp and can pinch the skin or fingers upon closing. I filed the all along the outside edges just a tiny bit, to round out those sharp corners where the edges meet. Still gives a tight seal when closed.
So, solved the trouble that way.

It' has cancer warning on the package and not on the description and it's cheap you can buy these at flee market for $2 don't waist your money and sacrifice your health either for something that a thief or someone else trying to get in your house without your knowledge we're just laugh at
