This French press coffee maker sports a modern design, with its narrow cylindrical glass jug, equipped with a lid, stainless plunger and wire mesh filter, which fits tightly in the cylinder glass beaker. Coffee is brewed by placing the coffee and water together, leaving to brew for a few minutes, and then depressing the plunger to trap the coffee grinds at the bottom of the glass jug. A French press requires coffee of a coarser grind than that used for a drip brew coffee filter, such as produced by a burr mill grinder rather than the whirling blade variety, as a finer grind will seep through the press filter and into the coffee. Because the coffee grounds remain in direct contact with the brewing water and the grinds are filtered from the water via a mesh instead of a paper filter, coffee brewed with the French press captures more of the coffee’s flavor and essential oils, which would become trapped in a traditional drip brew machine’s paper filters. French pressed coffee is usually stronger and thicker and has more sediment than drip-brewed coffee.

Easy to use. Filter works well, I only wished that the carafe was microwave safe that's the only negative comment that I have with all these coffee press type makers... This is dishwasher safe but I'd rather have it be microwave safe.

The instructions that came with the product were simple and easy to follow.  I loved the convenience, ease of use and taste of my coffee made with the press. The 6 cup press made enough for 2 large mugs. If there was one downfall, it would be if you're not sharing the coffee in the press by the time you're drinking the second cup it's not quite as hot as I would like.  I can't quite explain why but the coffe was very flavorful and almost creamy.  I have really enjoyed testing this product and would definitely recommend it.

Why do I love the Primula Tempo Coffee Press?

First, it's red, my favourite colour! And the design is so stylish, adding a touch of elegance to my kitchen. The lid and plunger with the wire mesh filter are easy to operate, and I like its simple, straightforward construction. Using this French Press is a delight! It's so easy to use, giving me control on how long I want the coffee to steep. And the taste...Oh my! I could really taste the difference once I took my first sip. French pressed coffee is absolutely way more richer, smoother, and more delicious than what I've been used to. It really elevates making and drinking a cup of joe to a whole new level! Cleaning and washing it is also easy; no problems at all, especially if you just place it in the dishwasher. 

Every cup I make is now a small indulgence that my husband and I look forward to every day. I would definitely recommend this to coffee lovers and those who want to elevate their coffee ritual.

I typically rely on my Keurig coffee machine for its convenience, but after trying the Primula Tempo Coffee Press, I've discovered a new weekend ritual that I absolutely love. The coffee produced was not only fresh but also incredibly delicious, with a rich and full-bodied flavor that truly stands out.

Elevate Your Coffee Experience with the

I'm totally loving this Primula Tempo Coffee Press. It's so easy to use and doesn't take long to wash after using it. I love the colour of it. It makes just enough coffee for myself and I can get 2 cups of coffee from it. I like the taste of coffee I can get from this coffee press. It's my go to in the morning and I don't have to make a pot of coffee for myself anymore.  This coffee press is truly amazing.

Small But Perfect!

This 6 cup coffee press was put to the test against my personal 6 cup stainless steel coffee French press. For the sake of an honest and decisive opinion. 

That said, for about a week I've been switching between the Primula Tempo Coffee Press and my original French press each time I make coffee and here is what I have noticed:

Every time I use the Primula Tempo coffee press, I notice that the entire straining mechanism seems to be of a higher quality than I am use to, specifically the screen on this is sturdier and finer mesh and I've been made infuriatingly aware that my old coffee press was leaving me with less than ideal experience in my morning coffee. The lack of grinds or coffee sediment that escapes the combinations the filter, spiral plate, and cross plate have improved my coffee, my morning, and my mood. 

Found my new favorite coffee press, possibly even my new favorite daily kitchen addition.

Excellence in morning brewing

This was a perfect size for my morning coffee.....two good size cups.  I also loved that it fits well on the top rack of my dishwasher b/c of its size.  It's attractive looking and works well to filter the coffee grinds.  Handle not as smooth as others when moving it up and down, but not a big deal.  Would recommend!

The Primula Tempo Coffee Press works very well! It allows for 6 cups of coffee to be brewed. It has a stainless steel plunger and temperature safe borosilicate glass beaker, along with a sturdy handle for pouring. The stainless steel filter creates a great seal allowing for a clean cup of coffee. I like that it is dishwasher safe and the filter can be removed for easy cleaning. Also, the packaging made me more confident that the coffee press would be in good condition and had all the necessary information about the product. 
Overall, a great coffee press that I can take anywhere I go!

Great Coffee Press!

So i have been using the Primula Tempo Coffee Press for a bit and definitely think that this would be an excellent press to use for camping.  It's very lightweight and easy to use.  A few things to note:  Since it is glass it does not retain heat very well and the coffee cools down really quick.  Also the plunger does not go far enough down so the coffee grounds tend to not be pressed tight.

I would probably not recommend it for home use, but will definitely include it with my outdoor camping equipment.

It's Ok - probably best for camping

We bought this because we wanted one that was bigger than the one liter (33 ounces or four cups) of our current French press. This maker is advertised as having a six cup capacity which would be 48 ounces. It will not even take four. Returning it.

Will not take even close to 6 cups.
