My wonderful, tech-savvy, gifted daughter-in-law set the printer up for me in about half an hour, given that much of that time was spent on the phone resolving a WIFI issue with SPECTRUM.  

I especially like the clear, sharp print quality and the fact that I can print remotely via my phone.   It is such a relief to have dumped my virtually unused Epson WF-2860 printer in favor of this solid Brother monochrome compact laser printer that prints only in black, not in color, which is all I ever need.  

It does everything a printer can do, including WIFI mobile printing from my phone, duplex printing that automatically prints on both sides of each sheet of paper, and much more. 

While I have only had it a couple of weeks, I am thrilled that it takes dry toner cartridges instead of ink cartridges that quickly dry out.  I was totally dissatisfied with Epson's selling partially filled Claria ink cartridges as full, so that if even one color runs out almost immediately, the printer freezes, and software updates prohibit the use of remanufactured cartridges sold at a fraction of Epson's greedy, unjustifiable ink prices.

Amen, Brother!  Now if the Brother would only staple a package...

Super easy to print from my phone and Ipad. Can't wait to use it in my notary business.

After my MFC-L2750DW passed on, my extensive research led me to this unit with similar features including duplex (front-back) scanning, plus a better sealed laser unit to reduce the risk of contamination (which was the downfall of my prior unit). To date, it's working flawlessly!

Just what the doc ordered

I use my brother printer for everything from documents to crossword puzzles. I am extremely pleased with it's performance. Blinker Ryan you have a duplicate. My office would not be complete without my brother printer. Thank you for making a superb office product.

Great home printer

Can't believe I tried to use a Lexmark machine for 5 years when it could have been this easy. This Brother printer just worked -- right out of the box. And I'm so thankful that I picked it up at *exactly* the right time (right before tax season)! Thank you dear Brother!

Why did I ever try Lexmark?

This printer is one of the best I ever had…and I have had many. The set up was easy and it has worked perfectly. I took one star away since whoever wrote the documentation seems to not understand the concept of helping users to set the printer up…but once I abandoned the directions everything went great.

An excellent printer

Print quality is good, but I'm getting messages that documents can't print after which they do print.  When I had my laptop away from the printer, my Wordperfect kept crashing because it couldn't connect to the printer.  I had none of these issues with my old Canon printer that continued to work great long after Canon stopped supporting it.  Printer is also slow to begin printing.

I love my printer. I think the documentation is somewhat inadequate, but I ended up figuring out how first to assemble, and use my printer. So I guess the docs were adequate. It took me an hour or so during two instances to finally get the toner in and out over assembly and first toner change.

I love the printer, but too dumb for instructions

This is my third brother's printer. Loved 1 and 2. This one is AWFUL. Not intuitive. Can only print by phone. My tech savvy friends can't fix it either. No error message when refusing to print despite scan and copies work. Hold time was over 3 hours to get a live human to help. Don't have that kind of time. Tried chat with robot and they simply sent the directions I already had. All efforts too long to write down did not solve the issue. Very disappointing. Like the old model prior to this one.
