A beautiful set of 72 colors. So much more to choose from then the typical 48 color starter set. These are the best soft colored pencils on the market and the price is great. They cost more than twice this much at Michael's craft store.

Best Quality

Terrific pencils! One of the worlds best colored pencils. Excellent pigments. great for layering and blending. My favorite colored pencils. Of the dozen brands I use, this is easily my favorite.

Great artist pencils.

I have used this brand of colored b pencils before. They are by far through best   brand. The colors are great. The lead is soft & easy to color with. Would definitely  recommend  thesee to anyone..

Best brand of colored pencils

these are the the absolute best in the whole world artist grade colored pencils i have ever used since advanced art class at college prep high school in 1981! Buy the big set and order smaller sets to replace the basic colors used the most.  The colors "pop" off the page and blend well. the sketches scan fantastic and reproduce/print excellently!!!

These pencils are perfect! Now I know why people rave about prismacolors and will not use anything else. I'm not sure if I can ever use anything else!  These pencils glide over the paper with very little pressure and leave gorgeous pigments behind. They are soft and blendable and layer able and creamy. I'm in love!

I'm now ruined for any other pencils

I love the pencils! The colors are bright and there are a lot to chose from. The only thing is I think they were a little to high  priced and they should have come with a sharpener. But the I do love how smooth they color and how bright the colors are. They came in a Tin to keep them in but it was dented up. Would have been great place to keep them safe.

Coloring Pencils

I purchased these while they were on sale for $54.99. I wouldn't pay more for them, but am happy with what I received. Be careful about using coloring books/paper that is rough or has a lot of tooth, as it will eat up these softer pencils and you will end up having to sharpen them over and over. They are great for larger areas and blending together/gradient but a little soft for more tiny and detailed work. Great greens, grays, and a nice collection of browns in this set.

Soft and Blendable

One of the two metal boxes came in with a bump, while the packaging was intact, so it was already bumped at the time of shipping by Walmart and they sent it to me anyway. When it comes to this price tag, it’s pretty outrageous. The pencils are great, but the design of the box is disappointing. Too bad it was not done as in the time when it opened to stand on a table and show all the pencils in 2 standing rows, it took much less space, while now we must install the 3 plastic trays lying on a table.

I've only good reviews about the product, but mine is a Christmas gift and remains unopened now.  However, the metal tin the pencils arrived in by mail was badly dented in. As these pencils are very expensive, I'm so hoping the pencils are not damaged as well. The box the pencils were mailed in was not crushed at all which tells me that Walmart mailed the pencils in the damaged metal container. It's not gift I'm happy to give since it is damaged,  but the pencils in the quantity are very hard to find right now. :(
