If you are tired of heaters that just don't work well buy this instead.  Be sure to buy the optional fan for it. The heater and the fan have thermostats so you can set it and forget it. We bought one for our finished basement 12 years ago and it still runs great. We just bought one for a large three season room. It's working well and it should extend our deck season quite a bit.

Replaced older gas logs stand alone with the Pro Com ventless in black finish.  My propane company recommended it vs purchasing a much higher priced one. It doesn't come with a remote but you can set the temp and never have to do anything else. It heated by whole 1200 sq ft home cutting my power bill in half!! 
Power light push button is easy, the propane company installed it within 30 minutes. That included removing the old one. Works great and looks nice in my living area. 
During the bad ice storm and snow in January, February it kept my tank from running out. 
Highly recommend anyone that needs a new one, get it now! 
They sell fast when cold temps start dipping more.  If I had lost power it would have kept us warm. If I could give 10 stars I would. Good quality, the top never gets hot and the heat rises fast. Warmed my house fast in 30 minutes when temps were in the teens. My power bill was close to $400 the prior winter with the old logs.  You don't need a remote with the temp settings.  From low to high it gets the job done!

This is a great heater even without a blower. But if a log is broke you will have a wait getting a replacement from procom .  Even sending a picture of the log broken in half was not enough for them ... I had to mail the pieces to them first and then wait weeks for them to ship another.  Also wipe the  inside and outside walls and top with soapy water and then again with plain water ... will help a whole bunch with the smell . I wish I had done it the first time instead of trying to let the smell burn off .

Puts out a lot of heat

This is the second purchase of this stove. The first one lasted for 11 years!  That tells you this is amazing. It puts out heat that keeps my downstairs ( main level). At around 72 degrees.  I use the natural gas and save a lot of money by not needing my furnace much. Don't hesitate. Also, the price is the same as it was 11 years ago. You can't go wrong.

Cozy and warm

We bought an identical stove about ten years ago and it worked great. This newer one must have significant government meddling on it as it will not function correctly. First, the booklet never said there is an internal screw that must be switched to change the stove from propane to natural gas.  Figured that out finally.  Secondly, it will not stay lit. The pilot lights and the stove lights, but when it cycles the pilot goes off so it will not relight without manually doing it all over again. Suspect something in O2 sensor or regulator. Planning to rebuild our old one and take thus as a huge loss.

i paid to have the heater installed br a professional. He couldn't get the gas to run through it. So it would light. I wass told that the valve might have a defect.

Help No one will hook up the stove to the gas line. The propane person only takes care of the outside, the gas line plumber only puts in the line and a fire place store won't help because they didn't sell me the stove
