This is the 2nd time I purchased one. .y original one is about 10 years old %26 z piece cracked off the bottom. I used it to chop quite a few vegetables, onions - parsley. it definitely exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend buying this product.

I love my mini processor. The only reason I bought this is because I love it so much I had it break and die out after over ten years and this is the exact same make and model as a replacement. That's how much I would recommend this. I like to use mine for pesto and crushing fresh garlic.

Kitchen Staple

A perfect little gadget especially for us who have dental issues and must chop any food of consistency. ...  Must be very careful with the plastic container and especially the lid. It's made of very unforgiving plastic. If you drop it, it will break. I had a rather new one but lid fell when I took it down from a shelf.  So I ordered another.

Proctor Silex chopper

I bought this food chopper for my apartment. It is about 7in long and 5in tall so it fits perfectly into my limited cabinet space! I've used it to make personal smoothies, chop onions and plan to make falafel sometime next week. I've had it for a month and so far it's worked like a charm.
It is my favorite little contraption is because it is so easy to clean! The blade, and bowl both pop off so there is not worry of having to reach into crevices, like in some blenders I've used in the past. It is ideal for those who are only cooking for 1 or 2 people and are concerned with portion size!

nice compact food chopper

I really like this little food chopper. It is perfect for my needs %26 does not take up much room in my kitchen cabinet. Literally took me years to decide to purchase as I still chopped %26 pureed manually. I now wonder what took me so long %26 it did not cost much. It is so fast %26 takes no effort for small projects!

What a handy little kitchen tool.

This little monster works great! It is the perfect food processor. I wanted a very small one to use to make pesto and gravies for my family of 3-4 and this is just right, Goldilocks! And I love that it is powerful, the blade and insert are all-in-one. (In my previous food processor, the parts had to be fit together), and it's small enough to share a little cabinet with my toaster. It's worth the $15. bucks if you are looking for small and tough!

Perfect Little Chopper!

I cook for myself and have super sensitive eyes.  Chopping onions (especially shallots and scallion roots) is a dreadful experience for me.  One day, after a "oh-kill-me-already" onion chopping experience, I started looking on the Internet and came across this Procter-Silex 1.5 cup food chopper.  I ordered it from Walmart because they have it priced the lowest.  What a wonderful little machine!  It works like a charm; I couldn't have asked for better.  One twist of the lid (a 1-second pulse) is all you need to chop something up (READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, people!).  Don't hold on for dear life then blame the machine for pulverizing your food, unless you want to make purees.  I highly recommend this chopper.

Great little food chopper!

Handy appliance for short-term use. Difficult  to maneuver if you have weak or arthritic hands and fingers, mostly getting the bowl to set in and begin to turn to chop/grind. Plastic bowl developed a crack but lasted 13 months. I ordered another one. Blade rod that has a small hole is difficult to keep clean, wash and rinse immediately after use, visualize, occasionally soak in dish detergent and scrub with small brush.

Grinder/chopper review.

I used it for chopping Potatoes and Tomatoes. Tomatos were grinded in thin paste and pureed, Potatos were crushed like its been mashed. Overall it dies a good job in crushing things, it can be used as a good alternative for grinder, not good for getting chunks

As a chopper, it works pretty well.  I have only used it three times.  I put it in the dishwasher the first time.  It looked fine.  I hand washed it the second time.  On the third use, I noticed the entire bowl was cracking, and a chip came out of one side while it was soaking in the sink.  I've had my Black and Decker chopper for over ten years with no problems.   I only got this because I packed my B%26D away for a move.  I will never buy Hamilton Beach again.

Just So Disappointed
