Was a little skeptical of a ventless all in one washer dryer combo just because of previous experience with legacy machines. But this is completely redesigned and new technology that works as good or better than a traditional separate machines. Easy and less work. No transfer of loads.  My clothes coming out cleaner, fresher, and dryer than ever

First, it does work well. 2 hours will completely finish most loads through wash and dry. 
The item is extremely heavy. Due to the heat pump system it utilizes for drying adds tremendous weight. It does however fit in the same footprint as a regular front load washer or dryer.
The wash cycle works like a regular washer. It has many cycle variables that can be adjusted to. The dry cycle has an equal amount of settings to tailor for each load.

The dry cycle works well. It does get pretty hot. The dry cycle works with the spin cycle. Too little spin and clothes may be damp. As with any setup there is a learning curve. No dryer vent but the lint filter is large and pulls pretty much everything out of the exhaust and requires great care in cleaning.  Easy to accomplish.

It has a pet cycle. This seems to work pretty well. It does a dry cycle with a good tumble to loosen and remove some pet hair prior the wash. Depending on the amount of pet hair, one may need to clean the lint filter mid cycle.

Runs on 120v rather than 240v and does have lighter power consumption.

All in all after a month of use we are extremely happy with the results out of this unit. The ease of use and the space savings.

We did a large quilt and it performed well. It took 2 hours and came out completely dry.

Works well

Right now I'm giving it 3 stars, because even after I have cleaned it all the filters and replaced them, it keeps telling me to do it. I haven't had it a month yet. However, I will say I love the convenience  of not having to worry about swapping clothes over. The filter is just like everyone else has said, I figured by now they would've fixed that issue with the 26 model.

Still has filter issues

Don't buy this! Ive had mine since October of 2023 and it's been nothing but problems. Filter constantly needs cleaning and lint clogs up constantly so clothes don't dry.  I tried to return it within the first 6 months and could not. I've kept it because I spent so much money, but Im going to bite the bullet and just get rid of it. It  was the worst appliance purchase I have ever made. I asked GE to just give me a credit so I could purchase a regular washer and dryer and they would not. I would have  gladly purchased  another GE washer and dryer. I just need to get rid of this all in one Profile. It has made washing clothes incredible stressful!

Worst appliance purchase I have ever made

At first glance the product appears to be convenient. What happened is they loaded it up with wifi-enabled garbage and forgot to make an actual quality laundry machine. Product does not dry well at all. Glad we kept our old dryer.
The filter you are supposed to clean is less than 1" off the floor unless you buy the optional stand and the directions to clean it don't resolve the error codes.

Multiple parts get clogged and are hard to clean.

Basically, we've had the machine less than a year and it fails to reliably function as advertised and if I can get rid of it under consumer protection laws I'm going to.

The amount of water I've had to sop off my floor tonight with towels is completely unacceptable. I've generated more laundry than the machine has cleaned.

Tomorrow I'll attempt to get a tech to come fix it. I'm sure that will be a fun process.

Garbage -- DO NOT BUY.

We owned this washer dryer combo for one and a half years. It NEVER dried the clothes to our satisfaction even after adding more than an hour drying time. We just THREW it away.  

Sadly it could have been built to wash and then dry the way a dryer is supposed to work

Do Not Buy

Capacity, Efficiency, Features, Performance and Technology are all issues!

Inefficient and faulty design of this product. I have had this all-in-one for just over two years. Each time I have washed I received an error on the Smart HQ app to clean the filter for better performance. I have cleaned what is possible from the narrow access door for lint filter and the bottom drain. There is a cavity on the left side of the unit where lint gets trapped because the removeable filter is not fitted properly and allows lint to flow around it. Because it is impossible to access the cavity to clean I now receive an error that the lint filter is clogged and it isn't actually the filter, I have cleaned it, it is somewhere else in the machine. Just a design that while clever, is not practical in home use. In order to get a load to dry I need to select the timed dry option otherwise the load is still quite wet, and don't follow instruction manual on what the maximum load is. If you load it to the documented capacity it will never dry. Never, ever wash new towels in it!

Faulty design on these all-in-one washer/dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my honest unpaid review. We've had this machine a little over a year and it has been nothing but a headache since. The lint trap is a horrible contraption. I honestly do not think
they tested this very well before selling. The lint gets stuck in the compartment and there is no way to get it out. So then
It collects so much the machine malfunctions and will not work. There's no way to reach in there to get the lin out. Not sure how they thought this was a good idea. So here we are less than two years later having to replace a washer and a dryer after already spending over two grand on this, not to mention the service calls we've had to pay for since the warranty ran out at a year. I do not recommend this machine. It also does not dry well. Save your money and run!!

Run do NOT BUY

We've had this combo unit for about a year, and it has never consistently worked correctly. The "load sensing" comes on during most loads for about 2-3 hours, making each load take at least 4-5 hours, sometimes more. I clean out the drain every week, and there is still always a sewage smell that comes from the machine and lingers on the clothes. I clean the lint filter after every load, and there is so much lint and fuzz stuck inside the vent area, it takes no fewer than 6 extra tools to clean it out, and it is almost impossible to reach the angles required to clean it. Water consistently pours from the top of the barrel, and pools at the bottom, causing the dry clothes to get wet as I open the door and take them out. This machine was supposed to make doing laundry easier, and there is so much maintenance required, it takes a full day or sometimes 2 days to do what used to take a half a day. My son refuses to do his laundry at home when he comes home from college because it makes his clothes stink.

Very disappointed

I was so excited to get this machine! Imagine cutting your chore in half by using this energy efficient combination machine!
The first time I used it I was laughing at how much noise it made and how it was shaking the whole house. Actually knocked things off my laundry shelf. I figured it just needs to be balanced.... Nope!  We have "balanced" it several times and always the same thing! As far as energy efficient.... Please! It takes roughly 4-5 hours to complete a cycle and although it claims that when the cycle is complete the clothes my still feel damp but rest assured they are dry! Nope!  when you start the machine it might say it will be done in 2:51 hours however if you are using the sensor it can take around 4 hours with an additional 30-60 minutes to get the clothes dry. Not to mention that my Chore that I thought would be fabulous as a set it and forget it type thing has me going back and forth to the machine multiple times. Not really sounding energy efficient to me! Also it claims to have this wonderful feature of your clothes not getting All tangled up with each other! Again NOPE! I have the wash complete buzzer on because if I don't untangle all the clothes then they would never dry!
You would think that for the price we paid for it that it would actually be what it claims to be!
