I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate this nice big washing machine.  I could hardly wait to wash my bulky blankets in a washing machine!  
I’m thoroughly enjoying not adding detergent with every single load.  The reserve is brilliant and works most effectively and efficiently.
I highly recommend this user friendly washing machine.  Controls are not complicated either thank goodness.  Just the right amount of options.

High recommend this washing machine

Bought the set to replace our 16 year old Whirlpool Duet set.  Washer is a little noisier when the water flows in and during the spin cycle.  We were also experiencing significant water hammer effect.  I installed two water hammer arrestors at the water connections and  can barely hear it now.  Like others said, the fresh vent system isn’t worth engaging.  Like with the whirlpool set, we leave the door and dispenser tray open.  All these things are minor for us.  We noticed a significant improvement in clothes cleanliness and the large capacity reduces the number of loads.  We love the WiFi connection to the SmartHQ app which helps remind us the washer or dryer is done.  Hoping we stay happy for a while.

So Far So Good

This is an outstanding quiet, energy efficient, water efficient mold resistant washer that is easy to use and cleans clothes perfectly with no soap residue. It is completely odor free, ventilates after washing, has great capacity an impeccable technology!

Love everything about this washing machine, including the huge capacity, quiet operation and the choice of washing cycles. The best features are the wifi connection with the notifications about the cycle completion, and the tumble option to reduce wrinkles after the cycle, and the venting system to dry the machine after a cycle. The 20-minute quick wash option s is really handy. Last, it's very effective and takes out stains my old machine couldn't budge.

Excellent machine!

This washer is great! It is able to handle a large capacity of laundry. It is efficient and I like how it reminds you after each wash to use the venting system. You do not need to vent after each wash, just when done with the laundry for the day. The venting system removes any odor that other front loaders have. I especially like the technology of the smart dispense for the laundry detergent. It takes out the guessing of how much soap to use. I really like how it lets you know laundry is almost done and when it is done. I am happy with this purchase.

Worth the cost!

I have had the washer for about one month, I love all the features especially the ULTRAFRESH  VENT SYSTEM  with odor  block. 
The issue I have is that it is extremely loud. I have owned and used a lot of washers, unfortunately this is the worst and the loudest. It is located in my laundry room, off the kitchen,  we have to keep the door closed when in use.  The loudest occurs when the tub is filling with water, banging clunking and clanging in addition the spin cycle is very loud. 
On the front of the dispenser it has a label DBT Quite Control, when I was shopping I thought that meant that the washer would run quietly. I wish that was the case

Extremely loud

Don't fall for it. It's a nice looking unit, with lots of capacity, but it's built to break. Look up problems with control board, inverter board, and of all things door lock. We bought this unit in Nov, 2024, and it was dead by Mar, 2026. And GE repair is all its own story. Plenty of people report waiting *months* to get their appliance repaired. When we called, they wouldn't even come out to look at it for a week. Then time to get parts. Then wait to reschedule a return. And the problem parts are expensive. It was about half to cost to repair, with all the waiting, as to buy new. So to get out of our problem as quick as possible, we bought a new one so we didn't also have to buy a matching dryer as we require stacking. But this is the last time. I fully expect it to break some time in the next 18 months, and I will not reward GE for making a cheap product again. I will fork up the money and get a Speed Queen.

Do your Research, then Run Away

My 16 year old GE washer had a Stain Inspector. If I got a grass stain on my pants I'd simply press the button and select Grass. The washer did the rest. Now in this era of AI generated algorithms, I have no Stain Inspector. I have to manually select the different wash categories. Seems like a first world problem but I didn't have to pay top $$ for a machine with less functionality than I had 16 years ago.

Poor value

This is the worst washer I've ever purchased, I've owned it about two years, the drum is constantly uneven and spins for extensive amounts of time, it's loud. Now the door locks and unlocks multiple times during a cycle, it's already been fixed once thi month, it's happening again and Drummond draining water.
