This does exactly what it says it does. Volume is good. Not sure why people had a problem with it. My daughter loves it and sleeps with the bracelet. It doesn't do much without the app. And you can only get the app on Apple products. Can store android and apple phones though. Black Light works well and you have to wipe clean with wet cloth. Overall great product.

I bought this for my 8yo. She is an avid Project Mc2 fanatic & just had to have this journal. She loves it! Especially the hidden compartment & using the bracelet to open the journal.

Just gave to my niece for her 8th  birthday she screamed with excitement.  I was  a hero of an Auntie.

My daughter was excited to purchase this with her chore money. Everything works as described, except we could not find the app so she could use this with her phone. It is an older phone so maybe that is  why we could not find the app.

Daughter enjoys it.

My granddaughter was excited to receive this journal. She especially liked the voice interaction, and how the bracelet works as a key. She played with it all afternoon. She's nine years old and in the fourth grade. Very appropriate for her age.

First of all the bracelet didn't unlock the diary as it mentions on instructions. We had to use something pointy to open it up. My girls have probably opened it up about 2-3 times since Christmas. Wouldn't recommend, I think it was more the excitement that it was a project mc2 product but I wouldnt have played full price for it had I known there was really no point to it. Luckily I found it on sale before Christmas otherwise I would be returned it .
