Very sturdy chin up bar. Easy to install and will stay in place if installed correctly. Note that the reviews where it has come loose were all unsupervised kids playing on the bar. Yikes!

Only con: the padded grips are very close. This is necessary because the bar expands, but if you prefer wide grip pull-ups, the grips are useless. Solution, I just use gloves.
Overall great bar, great value, and it will stay in place unless you leave your kids unsupervised, lol!

This is a great item!  I am pleased with the quality and ease of installing.
I am an 82 year old senior female and in very good health.  
Installed at the highest point of the doorway, I am able to stretch my core muscles to help my posture stay upright.
For those able to use this pull up doorway bar, I suggest "you go for it"!  Thank you.

A great item for anyone age twenty to eighty!

Installation instructions could be better. On a 1/5 wide door frame, there is room to anchor only 3 of the 4 screws. Seems strong enough though. Screws are countersunk (so they do not seat neatly on the metal cup) and ****. Purpose of rubber grommet is not explained: to mount on the inside (bar side) of the cup so as to locate in a recess in the end of the bar.

Nice pullup bar

My son was looking for a sit-up bar. What they had in-store included additionals, such as a DVD and some other items. He just wanted a bar itself, and not the extras. This was a good price option, and he's enjoyed it.

Good pricing; All you need.

The pull-up bar was very easy to assemble and holds weight well without destroying my door frame. The only downside is it keeps wanting to twist left and loosen up, so I am constantly tightening it to keep it in place. Otherwise, very glad I purchased this! My upper body strength thanks me :)

Great!

Bought this brand because I have many workout items by them and I've been satisfied with them in the past. Although this pull up bar seemed sturdy at first, it has started sounding rattly and feeling wobbly after having used it daily for a couple weeks. I hope it holds up but I'm not feeling confident it in at all.

Not as Sturdy as I'd Like

The bar is not what I expected. Reading the other reviews I expected the bar to be sturdy. But no it is not sturdy. The bar has two screws in the middle that should keep the bar from becoming loose while you have it mounted up.  When my daughter is on the bar each time, the two screws would come loose, having me to continue to tighten them each time. I bought this for my daughter (8yrs) to practice for her gymnastics pull ups. She likes it however, after 6 pull ups, shes yelling "mom the bar is loose again"!
If you purchase this for a child I would watch them while they are using it, to ensure the screws stay tight when mounted up.

Not what I expected

This didn't work out for me at all.  the bar spins after it's installed.  That is not useful when you're trying to do pullups.  Also when i tightened it in the door jamb, it pushed on the wood and made the nails of the doorjamb push thru the paint.  Bad design/concept.
