[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working out my whole life and yet, this is my first half roller purchase! It is an excellent tool to infuse into an existing exercise regimen or to get yourself started on that path. Recently I have returned to focusing more attention on my upper back. Grabbed the 3' Roller. My fav exercise right now: Lay the roller down. Put a pillow on around 2 inches of one end. Carefully line up the spine on roller and head on the pillow. Open the arms to their respective sides and lay. What a perfect start or end to the day. Yesterday I used it for lifting my heels during kettlebell squats. I also use it for different balance exercises. So many options! It is very firm, but that works great for me!

I mostly use this to stand on, to help improve my balance, along with flipping it over to stand on to help stretch my arches and legs. It's also really nice to have more control with the stability of the flat side when laying on it the length of your spine.

More versatile and handy than originally expected!

This is VERY firm.  The first time I laid on the curved size, it hurt my spine a lot.  Then I laid a twice folded towel on top and it no longer hurts.  It is wonderful.  It really helps me stretch my chest muscles, relax my shoulders and back muscles, and improve my balance when I do toe taps.  I bought the 36".

Firm but great.
