We have used Libbey drinking glasses for very many years, but recently they were getting broken in the dishwasher.  I had no idea what the set of glasses we had were named, but these pretty much looked like them, so I took a chance and ordered these.  It was actually sort of hard for me to find these on-line, and I was so happy to find these at walmart.com! So far, I have been thrilled with them.  They may be a tiny bit thicker than the older glasses (which actually is a good thing because I hope they won't crack in the dishwasher), a tiny bit shorter than the older glasses (it is not very noticeable) and maybe a tiny bit heavier but still they are extremely easy to use and I would not call them heavy.  My husband uses these for a water glass at every meal, so they get a lot of use and go thru the dishwasher fairly often (tho he does try to re-use them as much as possible).  I would definitely recommend them.

So far, so good. Seemed like a really good deal. Took quite a while to receive them, but again, a really good deal. I purchased 16 glasses. One was chipped a little. Seemed like more of a factory defect. I'm sure they were on a slow boat from China. I would make this purchase again.

Sorry - two of these broke the first day getting ice out of the dispenser. A triangle piece of the glass broke from the top down when the ice went into the glass. I will be replacing these right away.

Very cheap glasses. Crack for no reason. Glass is not clear and looks wavy. Weighted section at the bottom is uneven. Bought a set of 8 a month ago and 3 have already cracked.

Terrible quality, don't buy.

I've gone through a couple of boxes of these. They are a bit too fragile and seem to sometimes break easily but I was fine with just replacing them... until one broke in my hand while washing today. Was literally holding with one hand while washing the inside with the other when a chuck broke off and sliced deep into my finger. Never again.
