This one holds larger balls of yarn, always a plus when traveling. Also holds extra dp needles for sock knitting. Base holds stitch markers and foldable scissors. Great product!

I should have bought it here initially. That's my mistake. I've had it for several months now, and it's become my primary yarn holder. I also have several yarn bowls that I've repurposed into hair accessory organizers, but I really love this one. I initially thought I'd buy more than one, but I'm satisfied with just this single piece. It's incredible how much it can hold, and depending on the yarn type, you can do a center pull very easily. I highly recommend this product to both knitters and crocheters.
post script, it is very durable – it fell down a flight of stairs came apart, but yet I was able to put it back together within five minutes, so kudos for making it a durable product

Handy tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this. I think it will be good for finer yarns but so far, in my noob use of chunkier things, not as helpful as I'd expected. Not giving up but maybe stick to project bags if you're using multiple, heavier yarns at a time.

Too Small

This isn't  wide enough to hold a skein of yarn like the picture shows. It most certainly will NOT hold a skein of bulky yarn. Its made of very brittle clear plastic and the clip that holds it closed will snap off with nothing more than normal use. Its not deep enough to hold anything extra. You're better off modifying a 2-liter bottle.
