Psycho Killer is a fast-paced, strategic and hilarious game based on your favourite retro horror and slasher films. Use every cliche in the book to screw over your friends and survive the Psycho Killer! In the deck, there are 5 psycho killers and the weapons he uses to attack you. Your turn consists of playing as many cards as you like from your hand but must end by you drawing a card from the top of the deck. However, you do not need to play a card to draw from the deck. If someone draws a Psycho Killer they must play it on the table in front of them, unless they can evade the Psycho Killer. If they cannot, every player with a weapon card in their hand gets attacked. When attacked, players must place their Weapon cards face up on the table in front of them. These are called Injury Piles. Each Psycho Killer and Weapon card is worth a certain amount of points. When they are added to your injury pile they become Injury Points. The game ends when the last Psycho Killer is drawn and the player with the lowest amount of injury points wins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been interested in playing a couples game for a while but haven't really figured out where to start. This game hits the nail on the head with being a quick game and not a million pieces. The video is probably more helpful if you hate reading rules as it briefs it. I'd recommend this for a quick game if you got the itch to play a turn based card game. I love that my son can join in on the game, too. The little VHS touch is just the icing on the cake.

I was so excited for this. I Love Love Love the packaging. So retro and cool and totally fitting. This is Awesome! I grew up watching VHS tapes so the box design was excellent. The contents were also designed in a fitting way. The game play is fun. At first I was thinking it was going to be like another mystery card game of killers I know but it different. I loved reading the directions as they were fun to read. There was a lot of directions and info so our first play was slow as we had to read but after a while we got the hang of it. Definitely great for older kids and adults or adult fun nights. Definitely a killer game lol

It's a quick card game, so that makes it more fun and keeps you engaged. I also love card games specifically because they're much easier to tote around to our game nights at friends' houses. Also love the nostalgic box it comes in!

While I love the 80s and VHS nostalgia I never got into card games beyond poker and black jack but now I'm a fan!  I love this is easy to learn with clear directions.  And 2 can play!

After that, it plays through quickly and easily. The packaging itself is very unique and fun also. It looks great on the game shelf!

Kinda fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me first start off by saying, "I love the packaging of this game!" The retro VHS look is amazing. Now, in regards to the game itself, it did take us a little while to figure it out. But once we did, it was pretty entertaining. Definitely for someone who likes thriller/horror genre movies and card games.
