Bright Long Lasting Color!

I bought this a couple years ago and while I've cut my hair since I remember this as the best hair dye I've ever used. It took maybe 8 months for the vibrancy to start fading and it didn't stain other stuff like other hair dyes I've used in the past. Looking forward to trying another color just can't decide which one.

I don't write reviews often but I must say that I love this dye. I have been using this brand of dye for 24 years. First dyed my hair the summer of 1996 the color was turquoise. I've done alpine green purple a bright pink and the color I have now violet. I am never without my color it's who I am and I will never stray from this brand. I never shy away when people ask what color is my hair. As a matter of fact I over share. I tell people the brand color and where to buy. please PC never fail me as I have never failed you...Hugs and kisses always.

24 years!!

Maybe this was just me but I left this in my bleached hair for twenty-five minutes and it's definitely not pink like the product says but instead a... magenta-ish vibrant purple color. It doesn't LOOK bad but I'm slightly disappointed? Just keep that in mind < 3 I still like this brand and like I said maybe I just put too much in my hair?

Color isn't as pink as advertised?

Decided to dye the ends of my daughter's never-before-processed hair and after 30 minutes it was vibrant on her light brown hair- we loved it. I followed directions to a t - rinsed with cool water until it ran clear after and then fully dried it. That was yesterday morning. So today she ran through the sprinkler a few times -  hair just got a little wet and it immediately started running everywhere and stained her suit body and face! We were able to get it off of her skin but the suit is probably a lost cause. We towel dried it (old towel) and then threw it in a bun to keep it from getting on anything else. fast forward to tonight to get out anything remaining she took and shower and omg it was like it was raining beet juice! I shampooed three times and then conditioned and it still didn't run completely clear! I get that it washes out but I wasn't expecting it to be that extreme especially after it definitely ran clear the first time. Color was amazing so I'm sure on processed hair this works great- just not on unprocessed.

Warning- a mess when it gets wet no matter what!

I know the bottle says up to* 35 washes so I expected it would last maybe half of that but it made it through TWO washes. And it was hot pink just FYI not pastel. I didn't mind either but wasn't expecting the hot pink.
